Develop and maintain embedded software for spacecraft avionics, RF communications, and command & telemetry subsystems.
2.
Develop command and telemetry processing software including packet routing, protocol handling, and validation.
3.
Perform end-to-end testing of spacecraft command and telemetry pathways from ground to flight hardware.
4.
Develop hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and system-level simulations to validate encrypted communications performance.
5.
Collaborate across RF, software, and systems teams to define interfaces, data formats, and timing requirements.
6.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Qualifications: 1.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2.
5+ years of experience developing embedded software for aerospace, defense, or mission-critical systems.
3.
Proficiency in C and C++ for embedded systems.
4.
Knowledge of RF and command & telemetry subsystems.
5.
Familiarity with serial and packet-based interfaces such as RS-422, MIL-STD-1553, CAN, SpaceWire, or Ethernet.
6.
Proven experience in developing and maintaining embedded software for spacecraft avionics, RF communications, and command & telemetry subsystems.
7.
Experience in developing command and telemetry processing software including packet routing, protocol handling, and validation.
8.
Experience in performing end-to-end testing of spacecraft command and telemetry pathways from ground to flight hardware.

Description This is a professional position of a highly complex nature involving the direct medical care of patients.
The work is performed independently with clinical oversight provided by the Site Medical Director and/or Vice President of Clinical Affairs.
The Physician must operate in accordance with the terms and conditions of the various contracts and grants providing for the funding of programs and projects.
This is a professional position involving provision of direct patient care. Although most activities are performed independently, clinical oversight is required. In accordance with New Mexico regulation, 16.10.15.11, Approval of Supervising Physicians, the supervising physician must submit written notice of intent to supervise physician assistant on forms prescribed by the board and these forms must be approved prior to the physician assistant beginning employment.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Graduate of a Physician Assistant program.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must have by date of hire and maintain current throughout employment:
- License from the New Mexico Board of Medical Examiners and/or from the New Mexico Osteopathic Board as a Physician Assistant.
- DEA license
- New Mexico Controlled Substance Registration (CSR)
- Medicare PIN and UPIN numbers
- Medicaid Number
- Have or be able to obtain BLS/CPR or ACLS certification within 30 days of hire. If you are assigned to a center with ACLS medications and/or equipment, you must have ACLS certification within 30 days of hire. It is your responsibility to keep your certification current at all times.
