We're seeking a qualified physician to join our cardiology team and provide comprehensive electrophysiology services during a long-term staffing need in a growing community near Idaho Falls, ID.

What You'll Do: Manage a diverse outpatient clinic, providing consultations, diagnostic testing, and treatment recommendations for patients with arrhythmias and other heart rhythm disorders.

Utilize your expertise in a state-of-the-art electrophysiology (EP) lab to perform a variety of procedures for diagnosing and treating complex heart rhythm problems.

Collaborate effectively with referring physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for each patient.

Play a vital role in managing cardiac care for hospitalized patients within a dedicated 13-bed cardiac unit.

Interpret diagnostic studies and order appropriate tests and medications to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Provide compassionate and supportive care to patients and their families navigating heart rhythm challenges.

Maintain meticulous documentation within the Epic electronic medical record system.

Foster a positive and professional work environment within a collaborative healthcare team.

This long-term assignment offers flexibility, with coverage needed for two weeks per month.

This schedule includes two days in the outpatient clinic and three days performing procedures in the EP lab.

Qualifications: Active medical license in the state of Idaho (ID) or an Interstate Medical License Compact (IMLC) license.

Board-certified in Internal Medicine with a fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology (required).

Current ACLS and BLS certifications.

Minimum credentialing time possible (temporary privileges not available).

Strong clinical skills and a comprehensive knowledge base in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, with expertise in managing heart rhythm disorders, performing EP procedures, and interpreting diagnostic studies.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and make critical decisions.

Compassionate and empathetic demeanor when interacting with patients and families navigating heart rhythm challenges.

Additional Information: Start Date: ASAP
- Ongoing (long-term assignment).

Coverage includes major holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, etc.) with a no-call schedule.

You will see an average of 4-5 patients per clinic shift.
