Senior Litigation Counsel | Non-Profit | Dallas, TX | #1294068-3

Republican Jobs is conducting a search for a Senior Litigation Counsel to support a national nonprofit advancing individual liberty through strategic public-interest and labor litigation. The ideal candidate is a Texas-based litigator with substantive labor law experience from a nonprofit or public-interest setting.

Job Duties:

• Initiate and litigate cases in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies defending individual and constitutional rights.
• Draft and file motions, briefs, and legal opinions on matters involving the First Amendment, open government, and civil rights.
• Provide legal support for the organization’s public policy and outreach initiatives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with allied legal organizations and attorneys.
• Represent the organization through public speaking, media appearances, and written commentary.
• Collaborate with internal teams to advance strategic litigation and reform objectives.

Requirements:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (willingness to obtain admission in additional states as needed).
• Minimum of five years of substantive litigation experience, including significant courtroom and writing experience.
• Proven experience designing, managing, and executing a litigation program or overseeing complex multi-case dockets.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and drafting skills.
• Excellent academic credentials and a demonstrated entrepreneurial work ethic.
• Commitment to principles of liberty, limited government, and individual rights.

Salary: $150,000-$175,000 + benefits
