Aloha! TEKsystems is supporting one of Hawaiis largest and oldest banks in identifying a Business Continuity Management (BCM) Manager that is responsible for leading the enterprise-wide BCM program to ensure organizational resilience and operational readiness during disruptive events. This role oversees the governance and continuous improvement of the clients business continuity, disaster recovery, and crisis management capabilities. The BCM Manager partners with business leaders, IT, oversight cohorts, and executive stakeholders to safeguard critical operations and minimize business impact.

Essential Position Accountabilities (70%)

1. Lead the development and execution of the enterprise BCM program strategic framework and roadmap.

2. Serve as Disaster Recovery Coordinator in actual emergency or disaster events, providing leadership during and post disruptions, facilitating crisis management activities, and conducting after-action reviews.

3. Chair or support business continuity steering committees and executive-level governance forums.

4. Establish and maintain BCM policies, procedures, and governance oversight practices to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements and internal risk management expectations.

5. Lead a competent team of business continuity specialists to oversee the completion of Business Impact Analyses (BIA) to identify critical banking functions, dependencies, and recovery requirements; maintain Business Continuity Plans, Disaster Recovery Plans, and Crisis Management procedures; and coordinate testing and exercises (tabletops, DR tests) with business units and technology teams.

6. Review and assess disaster recovery risks, work with business owners to minimize risk, and report findings to management.

7. Prepare executive and regulatory reports, dashboards, and key performance and risk indicators to measure program readiness and resiliency risks to the client.

8. Ensure readiness for audits and examinations in alignment with FFIEC and other regulatory expectations.

9. Develop and maintain working relationships with business continuity professional organizations and local emergency response groups.

10. Keep abreast of business continuity best practices and develop recommendations to apply appropriate practices across the client to management.

Marginal Job Duties and Responsibilities (30%)

• Review and approve all written procedures to validate information in the documentation prior to publication and distribution.

• Perform other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Manager.

• Works in an office environment. Must be able to work after hours (evenings/weekends) as required.

Special Availability and Travel Requirements

• Must carry a cell phone or other mobile device during working hours and after-hours.

Required Education or Equivalent Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Information Technology or related field (Master’s preferred).

Preferred Education or Equivalent Experience

• Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or equivalent, or must be able to obtain and maintain certification within 1 year of hire date.

Required Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in management and 3 years in business continuity, disaster recovery, crisis management or operational resilience in banking or financial services.

• Must have excellent oral, written communication skills, good interpersonal skills, analytical, planning and problem-solving skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Maintains working knowledge of all department equipment and devices. Reports equipment malfunctions appropriately; reports accidents and/or unusual incidents as well as unsafe conditions to appropriate administrative personnel.

Role Description

Servco is looking for a HR Business Partner to join our Human Resources team! The HR Business Partner serves as a strategic advisor and trusted consultant to business leaders, aligning people strategy with enterprise objectives to drive business performance, engagement, culture and compliance. While maintaining strong expertise in employee and labor relations, this position elevates beyond transactional HR to influence organizational design, succession planning, workforce analytics, and change leadership within a complex, multi-site, union and non-union environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on organizational strategy, workforce planning, leadership effectiveness, and culture transformation.
  • Maintain strong relations with business partners and establish HR as a proactive, value-added function rather than a reactive resource.
  • Lead complex employee and labor relations matters, including high-risk investigations, grievance management, and interpretation/application of collective bargaining agreements.
  • Translate business strategy into forward-looking talent strategies including succession planning, development, and capability building.
  • Drive organizational effectiveness initiatives such as restructures, role clarity, up-skilling, and change management efforts.
  • Strengthen performance management rigor and talent differentiation processes to elevate accountability and results.
  • Use workforce metrics (retention, engagement, bench strength, productivity, etc.) to provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state (Hawai'i and beyond), and local employment laws, company policies, and labor agreements while mitigating organizational risk.
  • Champion employee engagement and cultural initiatives, ensuring measurable improvements in engagement and retention outcomes.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Talent Development, and HR Operations to implement enterprise-wide initiatives effectively.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field preferred.
  • SPHR, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent advanced HR certification strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 8-12 years of progressive HR experience in increasingly strategic roles.
  • Minimum 5+ years as an HR Business Partner supporting leaders in a complex, multi-site, union and non-union environment.
  • Demonstrated experience operating at a manager or director-equivalent scope within a large, matrixed organization.
  • Proven experience in workforce planning, succession management, and change leadership.
  • Strong background in employee and labor relations, including investigations, grievance handling, and contract interpretation.
  • Experience influencing stakeholders and driving measurable business outcomes.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Labor relations experience preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of Hawai’i and Federal employment and labor laws.
  • Advanced ability to interpret and operationalize complex documents (e.g. collective bargaining agreements, regulatory guidance).
  • Professional presence and ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand financial, operational, and strategic drivers.
  • High-level investigation, risk assessment, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Data fluency - ability to analyze and interpret workforce metrics to guide decision-making.
  • Skilled at coaching leaders to improve leadership effectiveness and team performance.
  • Change management expertise with demonstrated success leading organizational transitions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.

JOB TITLE: Senior Event Marketing Manager


OVERALL PURPOSE

The Senior Event Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, development, execution, and optimization of a comprehensive portfolio of high-impact events that support brand awareness, client engagement, employee culture, and business growth. This role oversees a high-volume annual event calendar (300+ events per year), including high-profile sponsorship activations, customer appreciation events, executive programs, internal employee engagement events, and community initiatives.

This position leads the end-to-end event marketing lifecycle—from strategy and planning to execution and measurement—ensuring each event delivers exceptional experiences aligned with brand standards and organizational objectives. The Senior Event Marketing Manager works cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, external agencies, and vendors to deliver premium, high-touch events while maintaining operational excellence, budget discipline, and measurable outcomes.

Ensures all activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

35% – Strategic Event Planning and Program Management

Develops and manages a comprehensive annual event strategy aligned with organizational marketing and engagement objectives. Oversees the planning and execution of a high-volume portfolio of events, including customer appreciation events, sponsorship activations, community initiatives, executive engagements, and internal programs. Ensures events consistently reflect brand standards and deliver high-quality attendee experiences.

Develops scalable event frameworks, timelines, playbooks, and communication strategies to support the successful execution of 300+ events annually.

30% – Event Execution, Logistics, and Stakeholder Management

Leads end-to-end event execution, including venue selection, vendor management, contract negotiation, program design, guest experience planning, production oversight, and on-site event leadership.

Partners closely with senior leadership, marketing teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners to coordinate logistics, messaging, and program delivery. Ensures seamless execution and quality control across all events while managing multiple concurrent initiatives.

20% – Sponsorship and Partnership Activation

Manages strategic sponsorships and partnership activations, ensuring maximum brand visibility and engagement opportunities. Oversees sponsorship deliverables, asset coordination, stakeholder communications, and activation strategies to ensure contractual obligations and brand objectives are met.

Works with marketing, communications, and community teams to maximize the value of sponsorship investments through integrated event experiences and strategic storytelling.

10% – Budget Management and Performance Measurement

Develops and manages event budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking across the event portfolio. Evaluates vendor proposals and negotiates contracts to maximize cost efficiency while maintaining premium event quality.

Tracks event performance through defined metrics including attendance, engagement, brand exposure, and stakeholder feedback. Uses insights to continuously improve event strategy and execution.

5% – Cross-Functional Collaboration and Program Support

Partners with marketing, communications, leadership teams, and external agencies to support integrated campaigns and organizational initiatives. Provides guidance and best practices related to event marketing strategy, operations, and experience design.

Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.

This position requires regular use of personal computers and standard office equipment.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Marketing, Communications, Business, Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Experience

Minimum 10+ years of experience in event marketing, experiential marketing, or corporate event management, with demonstrated success managing a large-scale event portfolio (300+ events annually).

Experience planning and executing high-end, high-visibility events, including:

  • Executive-level events and leadership programs
  • Customer appreciation and client engagement events
  • Sponsorship and partnership activations
  • Internal corporate events and employee engagement programs
  • Community and brand reputation events

Experience working with senior stakeholders and managing complex event programs across multiple teams and locations.

Technical Skills

Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent tools.

Experience with event management platforms, marketing technology, or project management tools preferred.

Working knowledge of creative asset development, event production processes, and vendor management.
