This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in managing the financial obligations of our company.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full cycle of accounts payable functions, including the processing of vendor invoices, reconciliation of accounts, and managing the general ledger.

This role requires a keen eye for detail, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Reconcile accounts payable transactions and maintain vendor files.

Review and verify invoices and check requests, setting invoices up for payment.

Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.

Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.

Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.

Maintain accurate historical records by filing documents.

Produce monthly reports and assist with month-end closing.

Provide supporting documentation for audits.

Maintain confidentiality of organizational information.

Collaborate with the team to improve AP processes, making recommendations and implementing enhancements as needed.

Maintain vendor relationships and manage communication related to invoices, expenses, and check requests.

Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years experience in an Accounts Payable Specialist role or similar position such as AP Clerk, Accounting Assistant.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is highly preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.

Experience with accounting software and databases.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements.

Ability to analyze information and data and problem solve.

Experience in the legal industry is a plus.
