The Supervisor, Logistics role is a full-time and onsite position at our East Windosr, NJ location.
Job Overview
The Supervisor, Logistics is responsible for providing leadership, overseeing warehouse personnel and procedures in the daily departmental operations.
The position is responsible for resolving all order issues Pertaining to warehouse functions.
Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties
* Supervise all Receiving/Outbound functions and personnel (direct/indirect)
* Supervises the distribution, efficiency and utilization of the daily workload
* Ensure quality through use, adherence, compliance to policies and procedures as laid out by the governing authorities
* Effectively communicates, coordinates all departmental and fiscal responsibilities to the team
* Resolves all discrepancies, nonconformance and handling of merchandise per policy.
* Ensures a clean and safe work environment daily.
* Ensures that associates are trained and compliant to carry out their assigned duties.
* Ensures all the warehouse plant and equipment is in proper operating condition
* Ensures GDP, Continuous Improvement initiatives/projects are incorporated
* Maintains the quality and regulatory management system
Specific Tasks
* Oversees incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and good condition of shipments.
* Resolves all order issues, ensures all the international paperwork is completed and the shipping of merchandise per regulation.
* Oversee warehouse supply needs, cardboard, pallets, shrink wrap and so forth.
Minimum Requirements
* College Degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
* A minimum of 5 years' Supervisor experience.
* A minimum of 3 years utilizing automated computer-based transaction-oriented systems at the proficient level.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Able to multi-task and handle administrative tasks with high attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills and ability prioritize and multi-task in a highly demanding environment.
- Communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Ability to respond to customer needs in a proactive manner.
- SAP, Blue Yonder or a related system skill preferred.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Has working knowledge of QMS
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred

Summary:
Responsible for supply chain functions, facilitate product forecasting, demand planning, and logistics activities for related product types. Lead internal communications and S&OP processes to optimize inventory levels to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize excess carrying costs. This role is responsible for analyzing sales and distribution activities to ensure consistency, accuracy and timely processing of transactions.
Qualifications:
β’ **Strong forecast modeling experience
β’Β Bachelorβs degree required (MBA preferred)
β’Β 3-5 years business experience within Supply Chain areas required
β’Β 1-3 years experience using "ToolsGroup" Demand Planning / Forecast software (experience with SO99+ is a big plus)
β’Β 2-3 years SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) experience preferred
Critical Supply Assessment:
β’Β Evaluate inventory availability and lead the process and inter-departmental communications.
β’ Maintain consistent communications with key stakeholders providing root cause and replenishment dates for backorder and low-stock materials through the CompanyΒ Inventory Tracking System.
Demand Planning:
β’Β Lead weekly Market Coverage Review meetings with internal stakeholders, and relevant suppliers for assigned products.
β’Β Take ownership of monthly Consensus Demand Review processes.
β’Β Evaluate historical sales trends; investigate demand drivers; prepare forecasts based on historical trends.Β
β’Β Lead cross functional meetings with Marketing and Finance to review, align, document and finalize forecast changes required based on market intelligence.Β
β’Β Lead product requirements needed to maintain inventory stocking requirements.
β’Β Create requisitions and oversee purchase orders in SAP for products.
β’Β Lead or support product life cycle events such as product launches, loss of exclusivity or discontinuation on behalf of the Supply Chain department for assigned products.
β’Β Maintain forecast accuracy, order fill rate, and on-time and in-full (OTIF) metrics for assigned products and suppliers.
Continuous Improvement Responsibilities:
β’Β Participate in department annual objectives for efficiency and productivity improvements to reduce spending and increasing revenue.
β’Β Develop ROI analysis to support improvement ideas, as needed.
