The Opportunity:

The Facilities Operations Landscape department within Facilities and Business Operations is looking for a Landscaper II to join their team! This will be a member of the Landscape Operations Projects team responsible for skilled installation and renovation of campus landscapes.

Responsibilities:

• 
  

• Support the Landscape Operations Projects Team by assisting with planning, coordinating, and executing landscape installation projects across campus.

  
  

• Perform site preparation and install, transplant, or remove trees, shrubs, groundcover, and other landscape materials.

  
  

• Assist the Hardscape Team with concrete removal and repairs, paver walkway work, pothole patching, and other small hardscape projects.

  
  

• Provide support to the Urban Forestry team, including pruning, tree removals, stump grinding, and related tasks.

  
  

• Remove, repair, and install site furnishings such as benches, trash receptacles, and other outdoor fixtures.

  
  

• Coordinate project handoffs by identifying maintenance needs and providing sitespecific recommendations to maintenance crews.

  
  

• Operate landscape and construction equipment safely and effectively as needed for project work.

  
  

• Perform other duties as assigned in support of landscape operations.

  
  

Minimum Qualifications:

Completion of 9th grade and 2+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combinationof education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of landscape experience in a commercial or corporate environment, including installation, renovation, or multiphase outdoor project work.

  
  

• Experience operating equipment such as skid steers, stump grinders, chainsaws, compactors, trenchers, or similar tools.

  
  

• Familiarity with identifying plant materials and understanding proper planting techniques.

  
  

• Knowledge of hardscape practices, including concrete repair, paver installation, or sitefurnishing installation.

  
  

• Experience assisting with tree work (urban forestry), such as pruning, removals, or stump grinding.

  
  

• Ability to work in extreme environments and collaborate with individuals from various backgrounds and experiences.

The Opportunity:

The University of Central Florida Recreation and Wellness Center employs PRN (as needed) athletic trainers to serve in the supervision and coordination of the Recreation and Wellness Center's overall sports medicine program. The Opportunity

The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace (MAE) at the University of Central Florida (UCF) in Orlando, Florida, invites applicants for multiple 9-month, full-time, non-tenure earning lecturer or associate lecturer positions with an anticipated start date of August 08, 2026. The Opportunity

As a national and world leader in space, aerospace, and hypersonics, the University of Central Florida (UCF) has established a center of excellence on this topic and is working to strengthen its research and education mission in this area.

As a part of this broad, university-wide strategic plan, the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) invites applicants for multiple 9-month, full-time faculty positions at the rank of assistant professor (tenure-earning), or associate professor (tenured). Candidates with a strong background in hypersonics and space systems are highly encouraged to apply. Technical fields of interest include, but are not limited to:

In response to this unique locational opportunity, The Center for Advanced Turbomachinery and Energy Research (CATER) was founded to focus on student training and research on turbomachinery and associated energy systems for application in power generation, aviation, and space propulsion. CATER has 9 core faculty members at present, with a staff of 5 research faculty, 15 postdoctoral researchers, and 97 doctoral students. It collectively secured $20.3M of new external funding in FY 24-25 and graduates 13 doctoral students per year on average.

The successful candidates would be part of the UCF HYPERSPACE Center ( ), a Center of Excellence (COE) for Hypersonics and Space Propulsion at the University of Central Florida. We present an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and skilled researcher to join our team as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Inorganic/ Organometallic Chemistry at the University of Central Florida (UCF). This unique position offers a blend of advanced research in molecular inorganic and organometallic chemistry, with a downstream interest in reactivity, catalysis and relevant mechanistic investigations.

The successful candidate, housed in the labs of, and co-advised by Professors John Gordon and Titel Jurca, will play a pivotal role in advancing cutting-edge molecular inorganic chemistry. Responsibilities include the synthesis and characterization of novel coordination complexes employing techniques spanning conventional air-free synthesis, to alternative sono- and mechanochemical methodologies. Relevant complexes will be further studied for reactivity, with potential application to catalytic processes. Additionally, the candidate will participate in standard laboratory responsibilities of upkeep/maintenance, the collective supervision of graduate and undergraduate students, and dedicated activities related to professional development.

Responsibilities:

Research: Conduct advanced research in the synthesis, characterization, and reactivity of novel molecular inorganic complexes. Collaboration: Actively collaborate across both Gordon and Jurca groups, and the REACT cluster at UCF, in pursuit of the research goals.

Minimum Qualifications:
