We are seeking an experienced and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the practice by providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic outpatient clinic setting. This position requires strong clinical skills, a commitment to providing an excellent patient experience, and the ability to work collaboratively and collegially with all staff and coworkers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical histories.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical guidelines and best practices.
- Perform diagnostic procedures, interpret lab results and wet read X-rays, and manage patient care independently
- Provide health coaching and education to patients regarding their diagnosis and treatment.
- Document all patient interactions accurately using ICD-10 coding systems.
- Provide an exceptional patient experience with superior communication and customer service skills
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evidence based diagnosis and treatment protocols relevant to patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
Qualifications
- Master?s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- 1+ years experience in emergency or acute care medicine preferred
- Proficient understanding of ICD-10 coding systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively on health-related topics.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of care.
