How you’ll make an impact in this role- Expertly scrub for high-acuity cases, including open-heart, vascular, thoracic, and emergency aortic dissections.
- Meticulously manage delicate CV tools, pledgeted sutures, and vascular grafts in a fast-paced environment.
- Anticipate critical needs during cardiopulmonary bypass cannulation and time-sensitive hemodynamic maneuvers.
- Proficiently operate specialized equipment, including cell savers, valvulotomes, and intraoperative ultrasound probes.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- 1+ year of acute care experience
- Applicable license and/or certification per contract requirements required
