The Accountant will help lead the firm’s financial management, general ledger, and reporting functions. This role requires strong knowledge of law firm accounting practices, trust accounting compliance, and financial controls. • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including A/R, A/P, payroll, and reconciliations
• Oversee IOLTA/trust accounting compliance and ensure adherence to state bar regulations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Conduct three-way trust reconciliations
• Monitor cash flow and provide forecasting
• Maintain internal financial controls
• Assist leadership with budgeting and financial strategy
• Analyze KPIs and provide reporting to improve profitability and operational efficiency

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generallly Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Solid understanding of debits, credits and general ledger structure
• Experience with month end and year end closing processes
• Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Strong task prioritization and workflow management
• Quickbooks online experience
• Clio (preferred)
• 3+ years of accounting experience (law firm experience strongly preferred)
• Proven experience with trust/IOLTA accounting and compliance
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (or similar), Excel, and legal billing software
