The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is a unified Department across the two campuses of Jacobi Medical Center and North Central Bronx (NCB) . Both facilities are members of the largest public health system in the country and serve the diverse community in the surrounding neighborhoods of the Bronx and lower Westchester County.
The faculty represent all specialties within OBGYN including Maternal Fetal Medicine, Genetics, Gynecologic Oncology, Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, Urogynecology, and Reproductive Endocrinology. The Department focuses on delivering the highest quality care to our patients. We employ multidisciplinary simulation, huddling, and debriefs to promote teamwork and standardize care to continually improve our processes. Opportunity Details:
Support the Chair in the day to day operations and oversight of clinical functions within the Department and relationships with other services.
- Clinical Expectation:

The Mount Sinai Health System’s Hospitalist Division is continuing to grow with Full-time, Part-time and Per Diem positions available for Daytime and Nocturnist positions in New York and Long Island.
MSSN: The successful candidate will manage and provide the clinical care of patients assigned to Hospitalist Services through the entire continuum of hospital care including, but not limited to seeing patients in the ER, on the unit, following them to the critical care unit. Hospitalist shall be responsible to ensure that each patient assigned to the service receives medically appropriate level of care on 24/7 basis. Coordinates discharge planning with the patient, family members, and care manager/discharge planner. Per Diem and Full-Time Night (Nocturnist).

Hospitalist attendings provide either daytime or nighttime coverage for hospitalist services based on their career interests and scheduling preferences. Responsibilities include coverage of patients on the Medicine units, admissions from the emergency department, medical consultation for other services. In addition to providing direct patient care, the responsibilities include supervision of medical housestaff and allied health personnel (Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, etc.).

RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, is seeking Internal Medicine-Pediatrics and/or full-spectrum Family Medicine trained physicians for employment in Kearny, NJ. These Primary Care Physicians will provide comprehensive medical services to a diverse patient population, specifically ranging from infants to adults. We are recruiting for positions within our RWJBarnabas Health Medical Group Primary and Specialty Care at Kearny.
The primary care physicians will consult with patients of all ages—from newborns to seniors—presenting for care at a designated outpatient office, and such other offices as are reasonably required. Some services will be provided nearby at Jersey City Medical Center. New staff will coordinate with other primary care physicians to assure timely patient scheduling effectively covers call responsibilities at the practice site.
