Your key responsibilities:

 

  • Develop solutions leveraging claims automation and system enhancements to enable faster, more accurate execution of repetitive tasks in production environments.
  • Work collaboratively with the RPA team and other business units across the organization developing requirements, analyzing data, performing process review, creating workflows. and developing recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain detailed documentation as it relates to projects and departmental initiatives following program standards.
  • Analyze data to perform root cause analysis focusing on increasing accuracy and/or delivering ROI.
  • Work in an Agile environment to elicit, record and develop Business Requirements; work with the RPA team to convert Business Requirements to System Requirements.
  • Present and provide status on program initiatives.
  • Execute tasks timely and escalates roadblocks to success to OPS Leadership for resolution.

The Product Management Intern will serve an important function within our Customer Experience team at MVP to help drive best in class experiences for our customers across our Gia mobile app, Gia member online web experience and non-digital experiences.

 

The role will provide experience with discovery, delivery and analytics processes across multiple product and business areas. You will be paired with experienced Product Managers who will provide mentorship and guidance for these efforts and work closely with digital engineering, business subject matter experts, user experience and our customers to deliver impactful and positive experiences.

 

Responsibilities of this position will include the following:

 

  • Assess customer & business needs, perform market research and produce data-based proposals on how to reach desired outcomes.
  • Work with customer experience team, business owners, and technical teams to gain alignment on path forward.
  • Work across the business to prioritize epics/features, organize product increments, and present on findings and paths forward.
  • Present clear and well-defined goals for product increments
  • Participate in solution strategy process to ensure that solutions being defined align with incremental goals.

Minimum Education:

The Professional, Internal Auditor would be responsible for performing financial, operational, and compliance audits included on the audit plan for all of MVP's operational locations to ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies and procedures and analyze, interpret and document audit results. This position would be responsible for reviewing and testing processes and evaluating internal controls and providing improvement recommendations to MVP's procedures for appropriate control measures and efficiencies. This position would also assist the Leader of Internal Audit and Senior Internal Auditor in coordinating regulatory exams such as the New York State Department of Financial Service (DFS) and New York State Department of Health (DOH), and external audits as needed. The candidate would also assist in the overall coordination of MVP Audit Committee Meetings including the preparation of the Committee Meeting packages and meeting arrangements.

 

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting/business plus 2 or more years auditing experience within an internal audit function or CPA firm or 4 or more years of experience in Finance or related areas within MVP.

 

Additional Desired Qualifications: Prior audit experience in managed healthcare industry and possession of a certified public accountant (CPA) or certified internal auditor (CIA) designation preferred but not required.

 

Examples of Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Under the supervision of the Leader of Internal Audit, the Professional, Internal Auditor would be responsible for:
  • Audit Execution - Execute audit program steps in accurate and thorough manner while maintaining workpapers of the highest quality.
  • MAR / Other Audits - Assist in the annual execution of the Model Audit Rule (MAR) business process cycle testing, as well as any specific internal audits or consulting engagements.
  • External Audits - Assist in the coordination of external audits and regulatory exams such as the New York State Department of Financial Service (DFS) and New York State Department of Health (DOH), other regulatory bodies, and MVP's external audits. Provide direct audit assistance to MVP's external audit firm, as needed.
  • MAR ITGC's - Support the IT Auditor to execute MAR Information Technology General Controls (ITGC's) testing for in-scope entities, providing work in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Knowledge Sharing - Stay current on major regulatory developments impacting the insurance industry; share training topics with Internal Audit team.
  • Maintaining personal proficiency by obtaining an adequate amount of continuing education.

The Behavioral Health Services and Support Intern will assist with programs and projects as assigned by leadership. The Department of Anesthesiology at Albany Medical College (AMC) is seeking fellowship-trained Obstetric Anesthesiologists at all ranks to join our obstetric anesthesia faculty team as we expand care of the obstetric population at our center. About the Role

Our practice includes both healthy parturients and medically complex patients, with opportunities to participate in anesthesia care for obstetric patients outside of the L&D suite (e.g., interventional radiology and general OR) for non-obstetric surgery in obstetric patients.

The delivery rates at our institution are approximately 2500 annually and more than 50% of our patient population are high-risk and MFM cases. AMC has a very broad referral area and accepts all high-risk cases referred from many counties in NY as well as from eastern Vermont for our advanced high level of care.

Responsibilities

  • Clinical Care – Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for parturients in inpatient and outpatient settings. We do antepartum OB anesthesia consults for high-risk cases which are sent to the OB anesthesia division by perinatal outreach/MFM. The clinical spectrum besides delivery includes antepartum non-obstetric surgery, ECV and cerclage placement.
  • Education – Deliver didactic and hands-on instruction for residents, medical students, and student nurse anesthetists.
  • Research – Participate in or initiate clinical research projects; scholarly activity is supported and encouraged.
  • Collaboration – Work closely with obstetricians, OB residents, L&D nurses, and other perioperative team members to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Mentorship – Provide guidance and support for trainees and junior faculty in professional and academic growth.

Albany Medical College is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Adult Cardiac Surgeon to join its growing academic cardiac surgery program. This is an opportunity to be part of a well-established, collaborative team within a health system that supports clinical excellence, education, and program growth.

The ideal candidate will have experience across the full spectrum of adult cardiac surgery, including coronary revascularization, valvular disease, aortic pathology, and complex cardiac surgical care. The successful applicant will play an active role in advancing the Cardiac Surgery program while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

This position includes an academic appointment at Albany Medical College, with rank commensurate with experience, and offers meaningful involvement in teaching, quality initiatives, and clinical collaboration.

Practice Highlights:

  • Established and expanding cardiac surgery referral base

  • Strong cardiology and cardiac anesthesia support

  • Broad mix of elective and acute cardiac surgery cases

  • Comprehensive adult cardiac surgery services, including:

    • Coronary artery bypass grafting

    • Valve repair and replacement

    • Aortic surgery

    • Transcatheter aortic valve replacements (TAVRs)

  • Opportunities to participate in program development, quality improvement, and clinical research

  • State-of-the-art operating rooms and perioperative technology

  • Modern surgical suite and system-wide EMR

  • Teaching opportunities with residents, medical students, and advanced practice providers

Qualifications:

  • MD/DO or related degree with board certification or eligibility in Adult Cardiac Surgery

  • At least 2 years of clinical experience post fellowship training

  • Clinically oriented with research experience and teaching abilities to be eligible for an academic appointment as Assistant or Associate Professor.

  • Leadership qualities and assets are highly valued.

  • Strong communication skills, with a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

  • Demonstrated experience in adult cardiac surgical procedures

  • Ability to provide a current operative case log

  • Ability to teach, mentor, and collaborate with medical students, medical residents, surgery fellows, and other healthcare providers.

  • Eligible for academic appointment and medical licensure in the state of New York.
