Grade level eligibility and salaries vary depending upon background, including experience and education, and duty location of the opportunity.
This is a career ladder position with a grade level progression of GS-5, GS-7, GS-9, GS-11, and GS-12.
You will be eligible for a promotion to the next higher grade level (without re-applying) once you successfully complete 52 weeks in each grade level.

Candidates assigned to the southern border, Miami, or Puerto Rico duty locations must attend and pass an online Spanish training program, which will be completed at their home port.

In Texas, there is a judicial process for validating the Gestational Contract (the contract between the intended parents and the surrogate). Compensation for a surrogate services generally starts in the range of $35,000 - $40,000, for base compensation with over all fees up to 70k, in many cases. General Summary of Position
Assists physician with routine to complex invasive diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures such as cardiac catheterizations; cardiac and vascular percutaneous transluminal angioplasties structural heart and other interventional procedures. - Prepares cleans and drapes appropriate site prior to invasive procedure ensuring a sterile field according to Association of Operating Room Nurse (AORN) standards.
- Enters required patient data into the computer connects electrocardiograph (EKG) and pulse oximeter monitors. Provides physical and psychological comfort to patients prior to during and post-procedure.
- Monitors electrocardiograph (ECG) blood pressure and other hemodynamic parameters during procedure in the Cardiac Catherization Laboratory (CCL).
- Assists with intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) other cardiac assist devices and sets-up/removes arterial and venous lines as needed in the CCL CCU and ICU. Duties and Responsibilities

Typical assignments include:

General Summary of Position
The incumbent in this position participates and performs those responsibilities and duties necessary to ensure effective and efficient patient flow through the department in order to maximize patient flow and productivity. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinates all functions and activities related to the daily clinical operation of the department by ensuring efficient patient flow and scheduling by maximizing the efficiency of patient flow including pre-procedure phone interviews and schedule confirmation calls performing timely interview and screening of patients and documenting appropriately per hospital policy supervise clinical nursing staff in the provision of direct patient care by incorporating the nursing process (assessment planning implementation and evaluation) prior to during and after the procedure.
- Administers medications and conscious sedation during invasive and non-invasive procedures and delivers appropriate interventions during emergency situations. The incumbent shall also be responsible for the supervision of the clinical nursing staff in their administration of medication and conscious sedation reporting to the nurse manager any areas for improvement.
- Provides in-services to clinical staff both in the unit and hospital-wide.
- Maintains standards to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Monitors compliance for safety and quality assurance in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and Georgetown University Hospital's policies procedures and standards.
- Participates in monitoring and controlling assigned operational and capital budgets within administrative/departmental guidelines

Essential Job Functions:

Primary Duties:
* Conducts patient interviews to identify contraindicated implants, foreign bodies, and other medical conditions on concern. Identifies and performs appropriate examinations based on patient history.
