Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Possess a current valid driver's license
- Carry and use a firearm. Maintaining firearm proficiency is mandatory.
- Must be at least 21 years old at the time of application and under 40 at referral. Exceptions may apply for those with current or prior service in federal law enforcement positions covered by special retirement provisions. The MFM Division is the primary referral and consultation service for the Upstate region and maintains a strong academic mission. Faculty members are actively involved in:
- Teaching medical students from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville
- Training OB/GYN residents within the Prisma Health OBGYN Residency Program
- Supervising a large interdisciplinary team of midwives, nurse practitioners, fellows, and residents while caring for an underserved population
