Key Responsibilities

• Operate and support metal additive manufacturing systems, including LPBF printers (EOS, SLM, or similar)
• Assist with machine setup, build preparation, monitoring, and post-processing operations
• Work closely with engineering teams to optimize builds and improve manufacturing processes
• Review and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Apply GD&T principles to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards
• Maintain accurate process documentation, build reports, and production records
• Assist with troubleshooting machine or build issues
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the additive manufacturing operation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing workspace

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials Science, or a related technical field OR equivalent hands-on manufacturing experience
• 2–5 years of experience in additive manufacturing
• Hands-on experience with Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) systems
• (EOS, SLM, or similar systems preferred)
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software such as Siemens NX, SolidWorks, or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Understanding of GD&T principles
• Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
• Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment
• Ability to follow structured processes and quality procedures

Role Description

We are seeking a mechanic to support a concrete company operating a fleet of various trucks and mixer bodies. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing company vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operations. The mechanic will typically work a schedule of 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM and must be available to be on call outside of regular hours in the event of truck-down situations.

Requirements

• Knowledge of hydraulic systems on trucks and/or equipment
• Knowledge of pneumatic (air) systems on trucks
• Ability to lift heavy objects such as brake drums or sheet metal
• General computer knowledge
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English
• Ability to pass a drug screening at time of hire and participate in random drug testing
• Ownership of a basic set of mechanical tools (job-specific tools provided)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the concrete or construction industry
• Experience diagnosing and repairing concrete mixer trucks
• Prior experience working on Mack, Freightliner, and Kenworth trucks

Daily Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical issues on concrete trucks
• Perform repairs in a timely and efficient manner
• Respond to road calls for disabled trucks (e.g., tires, brake chambers)

About the Facility

Isuzu North America Corporation is investing approximately $280 million to establish a new production facility in Greenville County, South Carolina. This 1 million-square-foot, state-of-the-art plant—set on over 200 acres—will feature a flexible production line capable of manufacturing both internal combustion and electric vehicles. Production will include the N-Series Gas, N-Series Electric, and F-Series Diesel trucks, with a targeted capacity of up to fifty thousand units by 2030. Operations are expected to launch in 2027, with expansion slated for 2028.

Strategically located near I-85, I-26, and the Port of Charleston, the site supports streamlined logistics and consolidated operations under one roof. This initiative is projected to create over 700 new jobs in the area.

What You Need

• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of a state-approved electrical apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical systems
• Valid state-issued Journeyman Electrician License, or the ability and willingness to obtain licensure within a designated timeframe
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an industrial or commercial electrician in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with single-phase and three-phase power systems up to 480V
• Experience with motor controls, relays, starters, and electrical panels
• Proficiency in interpreting electrical codes, schematics, and safety standards
• Strong understanding of industrial power distribution and wiring practices
• Skilled in conduit bending, panel wiring, motor installation, and lighting systems

What You Will Do

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including conduit, wiring, switchgear, panels, motors, and lighting

• Interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and panel layouts
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and company safety procedures including lockout/tagout (LOTO)
