Two days of OR, 2.5 days of clinic/week
Program has impressive support (3 NPs, LPN, MA)
Clinic average patients per day: 20
In office procedures: vasectomies, prostate biopsies, urodynamics, cystos (have technician to help with uro dynamics if needed)
Clinic is connected to hospital (NP will help cover as to not interrupt clinic if called)
Two other full time MD s, 3 APP s who round 7 days/week, perform consults and assist with discharges. Also see office clinic patients.
In OR, 2-3 per day if robotics (usually schedule back to back - taking around 3 hours per case), if ASC/not robotics - 6-7 cases per day

We are searching for a skilled and dedicated Vascular Surgeon to join our team and provide locum tenens coverage for a physician on medical leave. This temporary position offers the flexibility of a scheduled start date as soon as possible (ASAP) and lasts for eight weeks, concluding on September 30th, 2024.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver comprehensive vascular surgery services to patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
* Manage a patient load of approximately 5-6 patients per shift.
* Participate in a scheduled call schedule, including daytime hospital calls (7 am - 7 pm) and providing surgical services as needed during call periods.
* Collaborate effectively with a supportive healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
* Maintain accurate and detailed medical records within the Epic electronic medical record system.
Qualifications:
* Board-certified in Vascular Surgery.
* Valid medical license in the state of Georgia (GA) only.
* Experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment is preferred.
* Excellent clinical judgment, decision-making skills, and communication abilities.
* Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
