Salary: $140,000
- $220,000 per year A bit about us: We are a growing electrical and energy-focused organization supporting utility-scale infrastructure projects across transmission, substations, renewable energy, and battery energy storage systems.

Our team works on complex HV/MV electrical construction initiatives, partnering closely with engineering, preconstruction, and field operations to deliver accurate and competitive project bids.

We are expanding our estimating team and looking for someone with experience in substation, transmission, or utility-scale electrical work who can contribute to project planning and help drive smart bidding decisions.

Job Details Title: Estimator – Transmission & Distribution Responsibilities Prepare cost estimates for transmission, distribution, and underground projects Review RFP packages and project documentation Perform material and labor take-offs Attend field walkdowns with superintendents and customer representatives Develop proposals including schedules, cash flow projections, and execution plans Coordinate with subcontractors for pricing and timelines Present proposals and participate in bid review discussions Hand off completed estimates to project managers and explain execution plans in detail Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Math, Science, or related field Experience estimating transmission or distribution construction projects Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, Project, OneDrive) Experience using Oracle Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools Ability to independently prepare proposals Strong written and verbal communication skills Interested in hearing more?
