Job Summary
Feldman Shepherd is seeking candidates with 4 to 8 years of complex litigation experience, with a strong preference for attorneys who have handled serious injury cases on either the plaintiff or defense side. The applicant should be able to step in and handle a case load consisting primarily of construction/workplace accident matters, trucking and auto cases, product liability claims, and a wide variety of catastrophic injury and death claims, primarily in PA and NJ. Experience with medical malpractice claims is not required but is a plus.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Analyze statutes, regulations, case law, and develop legal strategies
- Draft pleadings, discovery requests, legal memoranda, motions, briefs, etc.
- Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions and court appearances
- Take and defend depositions and appear in court
- Participate in settlement negotiations and mediation
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on effective litigation strategy and filings
- Investigate potential claims
- Handle cases from inception through trial
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed in PA and NJ
- 4–8 years of experience in complex litigation, particularly catastrophic personal injury matters
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex litigation and meet deadlines under pressure
- Strong writing skills
- Proficiency in pleading, motion, and discovery practice
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
