What We Do

Our product offering is currently focused on sales into EU with IVDs for professional use and self-testing. All products abide IVDR or FDA regulations and local rules in each key country, currently including Nordics and Iberia. Products are in general lateral flow assays which deliver reliable rapid results to drive early detection and organized into two main families: drug testing products serving mainly clinical customers (EU) and workplace (USA), and general health products through retail channels (EU). Novir has an established QC function in Milwaukee at Novir Research Park Lab, is ISO13485 certified and has a QMS to support it. Novir currently works with contract manufacturers for its Novir branded products and part of the roadmap includes bringing in manufacturing capabilities domestically and to add research function at the Laboratory.

About The Role:

The Quality Assurance Manager will lead the continuous development and maintenance of a Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, incl. ISO 13485 status, while also overseeing product quality assurance and risk assessment initiatives. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to establish product and process quality specifications, to develop or drive improvements and to ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and local regulations. The QA manager will foster culture of continuous improvement within the organization and an integration of the quality management system into every process and product aspect of the companies' everyday activities to deliver products and services safely and to great customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate for this role is a process oriented with deeper analytical skills, strategic and collaborative leader, possessing a deep understanding of quality management systems and key regulations such as IVDR and FDA, a meticulous attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a passion for delivering products that exceed customers' expectations.

What You'll Do:

  • Total Quality Management System (TQMS): Develop, implement, and maintain a robust QMS to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.   • Implement Process Improvements: Execute ongoing projects of process improvements to address key quality and customer issues, and to engrain the QMS into the company activities.
  • Product Quality Assurance: Oversee Quality Control process for products serving EU and US, collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and enforce product quality specifications, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand standards. Conduct regular product quality inspections and lead investigations into any deviations from established standards.
  • Supplier Quality: Work closely with product suppliers to establish and maintain high-quality materials. Develop and implement supplier quality assurance programs to monitor and improve supplier performance.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data-driven insights to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for innovation. Prepare and present regular reports to executive leadership on quality metrics, compliance status, and improvement initiatives.

Key Experience We're Looking For:

  • 6+ years of progressive experience in quality assurance with 3+ years of experience in a leadership (people management) role
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

Role Overview The Travel Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality patient care across a variety of healthcare settings and specialties.

RNs assess patient conditions, administer treatments, monitor progress, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

Registered Nurses may work across different specialties depending on assignment, including Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Emergency Room (ER), Operating Room (OR), Labor and Delivery (L&D), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Pediatric Nursing, Telemetry, Step-Down/Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Cardiac Care, Oncology, Behavioral Health/Psychiatric Nursing, Dialysis, Home Health, and Long-Term Care.

Key ResponsibilitiesAssess and monitor patient health conditions and document clinical observations.

Administer medications, treatments, and intravenous therapies as prescribed.

Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Monitor medical equipment and ensure proper functioning during patient care.

Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and recovery processes.

Respond effectively to patient needs and emergency situations using established nursing protocols.

QualificationsActive Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Position Summary

We are seeking a 2nd Shift Supervisor (4-10's) to work out of our Milwaukee Service Center. The Shift Supervisor coordinates all operations during the second shift. The Shift Supervisor ensures a smooth workflow, adherence to schedules, and a seamless transition between the first and second shifts. Additionally, this role maintains safety standards, prioritizes work, provides technical support, and assists with troubleshooting as required. The Shift Supervisor enforces policies and procedures and documents employee performance and issues.


Essential Duties

  • Collaborate closely with 1st shift managers and lead personnel to ensure seamless transition, continuity of work, and identification of priorities. Facilitate communication and cooperation between shifts.
  • Enforce general work rules and company policies consistently and fairly.
  • Identify and eliminate barriers to productivity, efficiency, and scheduling. Support team members by ensuring they have the necessary resources to complete their tasks.
  • Manage the compliance to all established safety, environmental, and quality procedures and processes.
  • Assist in the hiring process for 2nd shift positions, including interviewing candidates and providing input on hiring decisions.
  • Perform administrative tasks to support production reports, time management within the data collection system, and quality requirements.
  • Assist with loading and of unloading of trucks, deliver materials throughout the shop, assist with crane moves.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources for department labor and training needs to meet planned business expectations.


Education and Required Experience

  • 2-5 years in Manufacturing or Services environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Operations is a plus, but not required.
  • At least three years of experience as a Lead or Supervisor within a Manufacturing or Services environment.
  • Previous shop operations experience with preference in power-generation equipment industry.
  • Experience with manufacturing systems, time and data collection systems, planning and scheduling software preferred.
  • Strong understanding of EHS regulations and best practices.
  • Experience operating fork truck and overhead crane.
  • Above average verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required (Outlook, Word, Excel).

The employee is occasionally exposed to work in high, precarious places, and risk of shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat, extreme cold and wet, humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is frequently loud.
