Serves as a member of the mental health care team that provides specialized health care for selected groups of patients in the Adult Detention Center. Participates as a part of a multidisciplinary team that includes medical and mental health. Actively supports and adheres to the University Health policies and procedures. Ensures efficient, appropriate and adequate mental health care is administered to incarcerated individuals in the Bexar County Adult Detention Center. Supports and adheres to University Health (UH) and Detention Health Care Services (DHCS) – policies and procedures. Demonstrates behaviors consistent with UH mission, vision, and values. EDUCATION
A Registered Professional Nurse who is prepared for advanced nursing practice by virtue of knowledge and skills obtained through an accredited post basic or advanced educational program of study acceptable to the Board of Nurse Examiners. A Master’s degree in nursing is preferred. Three years of nursing experience is required and two years of advanced practice is preferred. Certification by a national nursing body is recommended.
LICENSURE
Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Texas and credentialed by the State to practice as a Nurse Practitioner. Prescriptive authority is required.
CareCoordinator will be instrumental in assisting the department and clinicians in the Ambulatory setting by gathering information, coordinating utilization efforts, and reviewing HCC quality indicators, and RAF scores to eligible Medicare Advantage beneficiary. Will monitor opportunities within the Medicare managed group to enhance financial outcomes. Will coordinate the transition of care and the interdisciplinary treatment for Medicare managed patients across the healthcare continuum. Facilitates the delivery of services, evaluates effectiveness, tracks outcomes and functions as the patient advocate to identify and communicate health care needs. Works collaboratively with clinical staff, clinic leadership, and outside agencies in an effort to improve patient outcomes, compliance, and decrease complications.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with current RN licensure in the State of Texas, BSN preferred. Three years recent, full time hospital experience preferred. Work experience in case management, utilization review, or hospital quality assurance experience is preferred.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
Current license from the Board of Nurse Examiners of the State of Texas to practice as a registered nurse is required. National certification in related field is desirable. Case Manager Certification (CCM, CPHQ, or ANCC) or Certified Diabetes Nurse Educator certification is highly desirable. Must have a current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider or AHA BLS Instructor Provider card.

The Opportunity
As a dedicated Injury Adjuster, you will work within defined guidelines and framework, responsible to adjust non-attorney involved soft tissue bodily injury to include confirming coverage, determining liability, investigating, evaluating, negotiating, defending, and settling claims in compliance with state laws and regulations. Accountable for delivering a concierge level of best in class member service through setting appropriate expectations, proactive communications, advice, and compassion.
This hybrid role requires an individual to be in the office 3 days per week. This position will be based out of the following locations: San Antonio, TX; Chesapeake, VA; Colorado Springs, CO; Phoenix, AZ; and Tampa, FL. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
What you'll do:
Identifies and handles existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and the job role.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled.
Follows written risk and compliance policies, standards, and procedures for business activities.
Adjusts non-attorney involved soft tissue bodily injury claims, as well as all auto physical damage associated with those claims.
Identifies, confirms, and makes coverage decisions on soft tissue claims.
Investigates loss details, determines legal liability, evaluates, negotiates, and arrives at claim settlement within appropriate authority guidelines.
Clearly documents thought process, investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement decisions.
Provides advice and sets expectations into next steps to members.
Collaborates and supports team members to resolve issues and identify appropriate matters for escalation.
Partners and/or directs vendors and internal business partners to facilitate timely claims resolution.
Supports workload surges and/or Catastrophe Operations as needed.
What you have:
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
1 year of injury adjusting or auto liability adjusting experience to include highly complex vehicle physical damage, such as multi-vehicle, non-owned vehicles, or total loss claims.
Working knowledge and understanding of the auto claims contract as well as application of case and state laws and regulations.
Acquisition and maintenance of insurance adjuster license within 90 days and designated number of attempts.

2+ years Auto Liability/Casualty adjusting experience to include complex/multi vehicle liability.
1 year auto physical damage or total loss experience.
Ongoing Professional Development with a focus on Insurance.
Bachelors’ Degree or higher.

Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is: $57,970 - $103,870.

What you'll do:
- Works under general supervision and is accountable for delivering outstanding customer service in performing a variety of basic banking services though lobby and/or drive thru.
- Resolves member issues and/or complaints in a professional manner; collaborates with team members to resolve issues and to identify appropriate issues for customer concern and seeks management assistance as needed.
- Follows operational processes, procedures, and requirements and applies their job experience to carry out moderately complex work assignments, like estate accounts and special endorsements.
- Maintains low error ratio, teller cash drawer limits and remains within cash outage allowance.
- Identifies new and emerging fraud transactions and provides accurate, timely communication to management to mitigate loss.
- Responds to and advises member inquiries on product features and services.
- Recognizes and refers potential product needs and self-service opportunities.
- Maintains and adheres to all policies, regulations, guidelines, and procedures applicable to Teller Operations (i.e. Patriot Act - Anti-money Laundering, Regulation CC, OFAC, etc.).
- Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma required.
- 1 year of customer service experience as a teller, in financial services, or retail sales environment.
- General math and calculator skills with the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
- Strong organizational, and communication, and customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of applicable banking regulations, guidelines, and procedures.
