In Texas, there is a judicial process for validating the Gestational Contract (the contract between the intended parents and the surrogate). Additionally, there are residency requirements that apply to either the surrogate or the intended parents, but not both.

Compensation for a surrogate services generally starts in the range of $35,000 - $40,000, for base compensation with over all fees up to 70k, in many cases. Medical Assistant

• Demonstrates ability to recognize urgent/emergent needs of patients and initiate appropriate emergency procedures as needed.
• Demonstrates current level of knowledge of various payor regulations by functioning within those guidelines.

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification must be obtained within first year of employment and maintained thereafter.
