Position: Medical Assistant (MA): Clinton Podiatry
Location: Clinton, IA
Schedule: 36 hours per week, Day shift, M-F
Supports the operation of the clinical practice by performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks. This position is responsible for assisting physicians and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care through patient preparation, vital sign collection, documentation, and basic clinical procedures. The Medical Assistant also coordinates patient flow, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring a positive patient experience.
Required:
· Must have successfully completed accredited Medical Assistant program.
· MA Certification/Registration preferred prior to hire and required within one year.

Cleans and stocks patient exam rooms, instruments and supplies throughout the day.
Answer’s patient questions as necessary and appropriate.
Provides follow-up and returns patient calls. Mails letters to patients when unable to reach by phone, to notify they must set up appointment to receive test results.

General Requirements:

Assists in training, orienting, and supporting new colleagues. Work includes cross coverage in other clinic areas as team needs.
Document patient plan(s) of care, tests and examination results in the medical record as directed by the provider. Escalate non-routine issues, questions and/or concerns to the practice manager or healthcare provider(s).
Ensure safety checklists/quality controls are completed as required.
Other duties as needed and assigned by the manager.
Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health’s Organizational Integrity Program, Standards of Conduct, as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
Successful completion of a medical assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Programs (CAAHP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
Must obtain one of the following certifications listed for a Medical Assistant with their corresponding listed certification provider within one year of hire:

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 3 months of hire.
Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to the population served within 3 months of hire.
Proficient in basic computer skills (Windows environment, web-based navigation, email, MS Office).
Ability to work with diverse groups of people and in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
Requires the ability to read, write and understand the English language, and communicate effectively with patient, visitors, and colleagues while performing their job duties.

The R&D Product Development Manager drives innovation by leading the development of new products, processes, and raw material research, bringing ideas from concept to commercialization. This role ensures projects are executed efficiently and in full compliance with safety, food safety, and environmental standards, while coordinating trials across pilot and production environments. Partnering closely with customers and internal commercial teams, the position plays a key role in aligning innovation with market needs. Additionally, it provides leadership and mentorship to core R&D team members, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leads the development and design of new products aligned with regional and global strategies, in close collaboration with commercial and R&D teams
- Applies deep expertise in manufacturing processes and scientific methodologies to ensure feasibility and effective execution
- Manages R&D projects end-to-end, including planning, trials, validation, and industrial scale-up, while meeting key timelines
- Ensures new products and raw materials meet production, quality, food safety, and environmental standards
- Collaborates cross-functionally with production and quality teams to support product development and continuous improvement
- Provides technical guidance, solutions, and training to customers and internal stakeholders
- Supports customer engagement and project execution through approximately 15–20% travel
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemistry or a related scientific field required
- A minimum of 5-10 years of R&D experience in food or beverage manufacturing (ingredients or finished product)
- Ability to lead, coach, and mentor R&D team
- Proven success taking projects from concept to commercialization
- Capable of performing complex mathematical calculations and maintaining accurate data records
- Knowledge of GFSI standards for food safety
- Understanding of FDA, USDA, or international regulations

- Master's Degree
- Background in sensory analysis
