Leads maintenance staff and contractors in equipment maintenance and improvement activities to ensure a safe, productive, and environmentally compliant environment for all employees.
Responsibilities: 1.
Overseeing the maintenance department, ensuring all equipment, machinery, and facilities are in excellent working condition.
2.
Developing and implementing a comprehensive maintenance schedule for all equipment and facilities.
3.
Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA, fire and safety regulations, state building codes, and local environmental agency rules and standards.
4.
Troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other equipment as needed.
5.
Leading and training a team of maintenance technicians, promoting a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
6.
Coordinating with other departments to minimize downtime and ensure the smooth operation of the manufacturing process.
7.
Managing maintenance budgets, vendor relationships, and inventory of spare parts and equipment.
8.
Responding promptly to emergency maintenance calls and taking immediate action to prevent injury, damage, or downtime.
Qualifications: 1.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
2.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably within the manufacturing or aerospace industry.
3.
Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.
4.
Strong understanding of OSHA, fire and safety regulations, state building codes, and local environmental agency rules and standards.
5.
Proven leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
6.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
