Job Summary and QualificationsThe Registered Nurse (RN) delivers nursing care to patients who are consistent with the RN’s knowledge and skills that are in accordance with hospital policy and procedures. Promotes a positive teamwork environment, which emphasizes respect to all including, patients, families, physicians, staff and other departments. Works in the critical care areas (ICU, PCU and ED) 75% of the time. Exemplifies professional nursing practice through expert clinical practice, strong leadership skills, and management activities. Under the general direction of the Director, independently provides holistic, individualized care using the nursing process for patients routinely seen on the unit.
What qualifications you will need:- Current State of Utah Registered Nurse license or RN Compact license
- Associate Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred.
- Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and Certification
- Any other certification/training required by the department in which employee is floating.
- At least one-year acute care hospital experience required.
