Conducting client meetings from initial consultations, design, signings, and funding; drafting estate planning documents that include revocable and irrevocable trusts involving estate tax minimization, asset protection, long-term care planning, and special needs planning; preparing MassHealth and VA eligibility opinion letters; managing MassHealth applications, renewals and appeals; filing probates, guardianships and conservatorships (including attending court hearings), completing estate tax returns, trust accountings, and estate accountings; advising clients on various issues relating to advanced tax planning; preparing trust funding recommendations and working with financial advisors on funding completion.
