Locum Tenens Opportunity: General Medicine Physician Near Fort Wayne, IN We are seeking General Medicine Physicians to conduct Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and Separation Health Assessments near Fort Wayne, IN.

This is a locum tenens position on a PRN basis with an ongoing need.

Job Details: Position Type: Locum Tenens, PRN basis Specialty: General Medicine Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Shift Type: Days Responsibilities: Perform C&P Exams: Conduct one-time, non-treatment exams for veterans, including interviews and limited physical exams such as range of motion testing and muscle strength assessments.

No prescribing or ongoing patient management required.

Two Options for Coverage: Travel to a leased facility to conduct exams.

Schedule veterans within your own practice for these assessments.

Flexible Scheduling: Choose between half-day shifts (4 hours) or full-day shifts (8 hours) based on your availability.

Qualifications: Board Certified Physician in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or a related field with experience in general medicine or performing compensation and pension exams.

Proficiency in: Using a goniometer for physical assessments.

Familiarity with conditions such as musculoskeletal issues, diabetes, and cardiovascular health.

METs testing and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.

Certification Requirements: Active state medical license in Indiana.

Must complete DMA certification if not already certified (CME credits available).

Note that the client does not reimburse for this certification or related portal training.
