As a member of the Dining Services team, the Hospitality Specialist Bar & Events reports to the Catering Manager and is responsible for providing exceptional beverage, light food, and retail service in the Community Center. This role combines the skills of a bartender, mixologist, and retail clerk, and be able to do light culinary preparation. This position will also serve periodically as supervisor on duty across community dining outlets and provide event leadership as banquet captain during special functions. This position requires the ability to work independently to ensure customer service standards, safety standards, and hospitality requirements are consistently met.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Provides high-quality beverage service, including craft cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring consistency and responsible practices.
- Performs bar and caf setup and breakdown, including stocking and organization of alcohol, beverages, food, and retail supplies.
- Prepares light food items using small equipment, following recipes and safety standards.
- Greets residents and guests warmly, ensuring exceptional customer service across all Community Center areas.
- Maintains cleanliness, organization, and appealing presentation of bar, caf, and retail space.
- Acts as banquet captain for special events, overseeing server training, event setup, coordination, and breakdown.
- Assists with supervision of servers and other staff during meal service/events
- Serve as Dining Room Supervisor on duty as assigned for coverage across campus dining venues
- Responds to and resolves guest concerns; escalates issues to management as needed.
- Monitors inventory levels; restocks and submits orders as required.
- Ensures compliance with liquor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
- Utilizes POS system for transactions and assists with training others.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Two or more (2+) years of hospitality service experience (bartending, restaurant, or catering), preferred
- Prior supervisory, team lead or banquet/event experience strongly preferred.
- Seller/Server of Alcohol Certification and Food Handlers Card within 30 days of hire.
- TIPs Certification within first year of employment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABLITIES

The Warehouse Technician will process orders, prepare items for shipment and receive incoming inventory. Where applicable also responsible for cleaning and disinfecting returned equipment, cleaning room maintenance, stocking and staging inventory, and inventory maintenance. The technician assists the supervisor or manager in pulling and loading equipment for delivery in addition to assembly of equipment when necessary. Maintaining confidentiality and all other aspects of HIPAA compliance are essential in this job. Employees in this position may also be requested to deliver equipment to patients and/or facilities.
Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:
- Performs data entry in appropriate applications, updates shipping information, and tracks orders.
- Completes clerical tasks including faxing, scanning, filing, and general phone calls.
- Prepares shipping containers in advance and creates labels.
- Reviews itemized customer lists; locates and assembles outgoing merchandise to fulfill requests.
- Verifies contents of outgoing packages against invoices or bills of lading.
- Receives and opens merchandise shipments, processes packing slips or invoices, and safely stores items.
- Documents returned items and cleans equipment following the Branch Maintenance and Cleaning Guidelines.
- Retains knowledge of and consistently adheres to procedures for the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), infection control, and hazardous materials handling.
- Routinely cleans warehouse area pursuant to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), discards waste material daily and maintains a clean facility.
- Assists in the stocking, tracking, and replenishment of inventory.
- Collects and delivers packages to the shipping area.
- Responsible for communicating actual and potential stock shortages or outages to the warehouse manager in a timely manner to assure adequate inventory level.
- Responsible for monitoring expiration dates to assure supplies are returned or re-inventoried per company guidelines.
- Delivering equipment (when requested):
- Follows Driving Policy and completes required driver training.
- Educate customers in proper use and care of respiratory and HME equipment in a home setting.
- Complete written patient visits reports following setup and follow-up visits as required.
- Assist with customer equipment problems under emergency conditions.
- Process all orders in a timely, accurate manner.
- Perform patient assessment and re-assessment for patient care.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and simple repairs on equipment as required in accordance with company policies.
- Report equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Assume on-call responsibilities during non-business hours in accordance with company policy.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and function within the guidelines of HIPAA.

Responsibilities:About the Role
During a visit that can last up to one hour, Matrix providers review and observe a member’s current health, medical history, medication adherence, social environment and other risks. This provides unmatched insight into a member’s overall health and well-being that can be difficult to capture during routine office visits. The Matrix Comprehensive Health Assessment (CHA) helps to improve quality of care and allows us to potentially close multiple care gaps with a single visit. Our providers:
- Conduct adult / geriatric assessments to include medical history, diagnosis and treatment, health education, physician referrals, case management referrals, follow-up and clear documentation according to Matrix guidelines and protocols
- Administer and order point of care and lab-based testing as needed
- Work with physicians, case managers, social workers, family members, key caregivers, and ancillary medical personnel as appropriate
- Collaborate with Primary Care Physician (PCP) on patient education and follow up as necessary
- Provide services at the member’s place of residence which can be in their homes or Skilled Nursing Facilities

About the Clinician's WorkdayDay shift coverage is required, with 8- and 10-hour shifts preferred. Pager call coverage is preferred for weeknights and weekends, with overtime not expected but potentially offered based on volume, and holiday shift and call participation preferred. Typical hours are 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Physicians work primarily in a supervisory care team model, medically directing CRNAs at a 1:4 MD-to-CRNA ratio, and may personally perform cases as needed. The case mix includes general anesthesia for orthopedic, OB, neuro, urology, GYN, endoscopy, and ophthalmology cases, with board certification in general anesthesia required. Core responsibilities include department coordination support, pre-anesthesia assessments, consent verification, anesthetic planning and delivery, induction, maintenance and emergence, physiologic monitoring, and clinical interventions.

Typical duties may include: Monitoring behavior patterns and activities of suspect persons, vehicles, or vessels believed to be engaged in illegal activities.
Interpreting radar data to calculate appropriate intercept while tracking vessels and people to a successful interdiction.
Searching persons, vessels, baggage, and cargo for contraband or weapons incidental to detention or arrest.
Collecting, refining, and analyzing strategic and tactical intelligence.
Qualifications This GS-11 grade level position has a selective factor: As a minimum qualification requirement all candidates must have a qualifying Merchant Mariner Credential.

You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Independently applying advanced skill in controlling/commanding law enforcement scenes to include conducting searches, making arrests, processing arrests and seizure of evidence and property.
Conducting investigative inquiries using various techniques, examining files and records, physical and documentary evidence to identify logical conclusions.
Utilizing cameras and other electronic high-tech surveillance equipment to gather evidence, collect, evaluate, and then preserve that physical and documentary evidence.
Highly skilled in writing comprehensive arrest, criminal and incident reports.
Assisting government or state attorneys in preparation for court cases or grand juries, testifies as a law enforcement officer in court proceedings, and administrative forums.
Considerable experience applying arrest authorities and constitutional law in various alleged criminal situations, or knowledge and experience of CBP laws, regulations, policies, legal precedent.
OR GS-11 Education Substitution for experience: A Ph.D.
or equivalent doctoral degree, three (3) full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, or LL.M.
OR Combining Experience and Education: A combination of successfully completed post-bachelors' education (above) and experience.
