You will play a vital role in supporting our pediatric cardiac surgery program, ensuring the highest quality care for our young patients.
This locum tenens position offers the flexibility of working for one week in June and one week in September.
Responsibilities Provide consultative services to the pediatric cardiac program.
Participate in patient rounds with the team.
Be available to respond to surgical emergencies, including ECMO placement.
Collaborate effectively with nurses, technicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in the Meditech EMR system.
Qualifications Board certified in Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery.
Current Texas medical license with active DEA registration.
ACLS and BLS certification required.
Experience with ECMO is mandatory.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
