What You’ll Do (AKA Your Superpowers)
As a Float Pool Specialist–Therapist, you will:
- Interpret referrals and design personalized, goal-driven treatment plans
- Deliver hands-on therapy across acute, inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings
- Document with precision and communicate clearly with interdisciplinary teams
- Modify care plans when needed to optimize outcomes
- Coordinate daily patient activity and charges for data processing
- (If in Aquatics) Provide therapy in pool environments with confidence and care
Within:
- 90 days → You’ll be competent across all major rehab venues
- 6 months → You’ll develop expertise in at least one specialty area (brain injury, aquatics, burn, hand therapy, lymphedema, pediatrics, spinal cord injury, and more!)
The Real-World Stuff
This role requires adaptability and resilience. You’ll manage:
- High caseloads and dynamic environments
- Exposure to clinical equipment, chemicals, and communicable diseases
- Occasional interruptions (healthcare is exciting like that!)
- Travel between facilities

What You’ll Do
As a Float Pool OT, you’re more than a therapist—you’re a life-changer.
You will:
- Evaluate patients and design personalized plans of care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maximize patient outcomes
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based therapy
- Modify treatment plans as needed and document outcomes thoroughly
- Communicate patient activity and charges daily
- Become competent in all rehab venues within 90 days
- Develop expertise in at least one specialty area within six months (options include aquatics, brain injury, burn, lymphedema, pediatrics, spinal cord injury, hand therapy, and more!)
You’ll report to the Rehabilitation Clinical Manager and play a vital role in delivering ethical, cost-effective, high-quality care.

Overview:
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, assembling, maintaining, and repairing piping systems in commercial and/or industrial settings. Fusion welding experience is preferred and will be considered a strong asset. Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and piping specifications
- Measure, cut, thread, bend, and assemble pipes using hand and power tools
- Install piping systems for water, gas, steam, or other materials
- Perform inspections, pressure testing, and troubleshooting of piping systems
- Use fusion welding techniques (e.g., butt fusion, electrofusion) when required
- Ensure work meets safety standards, codes, and project specifications
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades on job sites
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
Required Qualifications
- Must have valid Oklahoma Mechanical or Plumbing License
- Proven experience as a pipefitter or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of piping systems, materials, and installation methods
