SUMMARY:

The Senior Buyer will report to the Purchasing Manager. This position will be responsible for all aspects of purchasing with an emphasis on outsourced services, hardware, and anchor cages.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Negotiate and purchase hardware, anchor cages/rods, manufacturing services (burning parts, bending services) while keeping inventory at satisfactory levels.
  • Prepare purchase orders and follow up with vendors for delivery of products. Determine the PO need by dates and ensure outsource vendors have the capacity and capability to deliver on time.
  • Provide weekly updates to the operations team on status of PO's placed and estimated delivery times.
  • Maintain vendor scorecards with safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors.
  • May oversee audit compliance and perform audits.
  • Will serve as backup to Purchasing Manager.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Responsibilities

As an Aviation Electronics Technician (AT), you'll maintain, troubleshoot, repair and test complex electronic systems related to aviation on tactical jets, fixed wing aircraft or rotary winged helicopter systems. In this role, you can expect to work with systems including digital computers, fiber optics, infrared detection, radar, laser electronics, navigation, pressure indication, and electrical power generation and distribution. Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Installing modifications to aircraft electronic systems
  • Performing micro-miniature module repair on computer circuit cards
  • Performing electrical diagnostics
  • Reading electrical system diagrams
  • Repairing and maintaining power generators and electric motors

Work Environment

The Boatswain's Mate (BM) has a rich history of honored traditions. As a BM, you will supervise the maintenance of your ship inside and out, in addition to a diverse roster of other responsibilities:

  • Standing watch as lookout or Boatswain Mate of the Watch
  • Repairing, maintaining and stowing equipment
  • Training, directing and supervising ship's maintenance personnel
  • Assisting as a search and rescue swimmer

  • Serving as a member of damage control, emergency and security alert teams
  • Participating in Navy ceremonies

  • Collaborate with Mortgage leadership and participate in mentoring sessions for Mortgage Processors, Mortgage Closers, and Mortgage Loan Officers
  • Maintain current knowledge of all company mortgage products and any changes to guidelines by company, investor, or government agencies that impact the processing of mortgage loan products

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

·       Must have at least 1 year of Mortgage Underwriting experience

·       Knowledgeable of the Mortgage Industry

·       Familiar with agency guidelines i.e. Fannie, Freddie, VA

·       Ability to quickly adjust

·       Quick decision making

·       Comfortable with conditions, especially DU conditions

·       Familiar with/ability to calculate income

·       Experience reviewing CBR's

·       Experience in a production-based environment

Top Skills Details:

Conventional, FHA, VA, desktop underwriter/processing experience (certifications are preferred, not required)

The pay range for this position is $22.02 - $39.93/hr.
