THE PURPOSE:

The Supply Chain Planning Manager supports the Logistics & Operations team by ensuring that inbound and outbound operations are balanced and DC/3PL operations are optimized. Definition

Under general supervision, enforces city/state ordinances governing citizen ownership of animals within the City; enforces regulations regarding stray, nuisance and dangerous animals; investigates reports of animal cruelty, abandonment and patrols assigned areas; collects and transports animals to the Shelter. This position receives direction from higher level police supervisory/management staff.
Position Snapshot: The Animal Services Officer (ASO) is another "face of the Fontana Police Department." This is a uniformed position that works a 10-hour shift, both in the field and in the office. While driving an assigned work vehicle, the incumbent will communicate via the in-car computer or radio during their shift to respond to and complete calls for service. ASOs assist citizens and officers after being trained in methods for interacting with an array of animals. ASOs are entrusted to work independently, within a team environment, and to communicate with the public in a productive manner. Writing detailed reports, testifying in court, and being on-call are all requirements of the position. This all makes for a fulfilling and exciting work experience that won't leave you bored or short of challenges.

Essential Functions

The incumbent must have the ability to:

  • Patrol assigned areas of the City in City vehicle; capture wild, stray, and unlicensed animals for impounding; remove and transport dead and injured animals; under emergency conditions, destroy dangerous or grossly injured animals in the field using euthanasia procedures or arrange for proper destruction.
  • Investigate complaints from the public and other agencies regarding animals that are stray, uncontrolled, abused, dangerous, wild or diseased; investigate animal bites, arrange for proper identification and quarantining; approve and monitor home quarantine of biting animals in accordance with regulations.
  • Explain laws and regulations to the public relating to the care and control of animals, filing of complaints, and the operations and authorities of the animal shelter.
  • Issue citations and warning notices for violations of applicable regulations; investigates problems through interviews and evidence collection; testifies in court regarding citations and monitors disposition of complaints.
  • Assist other agencies and City departments in animal control and handling, including searches, evictions and other emergencies.
  • Operate firearms, humane traps, mobile radios and related animal control tools, equipment and devices.
  • Identify symptoms of common animal diseases and recommend medical care, isolation or destruction.
  • Advise, counsel and instruct others in animal behavior and handling; may make educational presentations.
  • Assist other Animal Control staff and City staff; instruct in field practices and animal care and handling procedures as needed.

We are seeking a motivated Administrative Manager to join our California divisions of Triple-S Steel. This position will be based out of our Fontana, CA facility. The Administrative Manager provides professional level duties related to the California businesses and will be heavily focused on analyzing and communicating financial metrics to the EVP, GM and CFO. Responsibilities:


Supervises a team and provides support in the following areas:


Inventory

  • Receive coils scheduled to ship to outside processors
  • Post finished goods from outside processors.
  • Review purchase orders and update destination and quantities per shipping documents.
  • Track and monitor shipments from offshore.
  • Maintain documents and coordinate with inventory & receiving department.
  • Assign carrier for inbound shipments from port to final destination.
  • Schedule inbound shipments from the port and update receiving, inventory & operations.
  • Review inventory for accuracy, research transactions as required.
  • Assist west coast branches (SLC, UTS, DEN, GJC, NMF) with inventory adjustments.
  • Use Invex and eStelplan.
  • Assist with all adjustments for the west.

Billing

  • Review billing as required for accuracy.
  • Research cost issues.
  • Support team members with billing inquiries and issues while they are out.

Accounts Payable

  • Assist AP personnel in Houston, when requested, in providing information to process invoices (material, processing, freight, transloading)

Customer Service

  • Assist customers when documentation is required (invoices, proof of delivery, test reports)
  • Provides monthly, quarterly and year-end analyses
  • Coordinating or assisting with the budget process
  • Analyzing and reporting cost variances
  • Maintains controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
  • Analyzes the budget as the year moves forward.
  • Provide detailed financial analysis on monthly financial results and analyze those results against budget
  • Focus on cost control initiatives
  • Prepares special projects for the Executive VP and GM as requested
  • Works with Corporate IT department to secure proprietary information and trade secrets
  • Assure compliance with Federal, State, and Local financial legal requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting Required
  • CPA preferred but not required
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Experience supporting the accounting function in the Metals industry or Industrial Distribution work environment

Job Responsibilities and Objectives

  1. Network Infrastructure: Responsible for the construction, maintenance, and optimization of the business network within the company. Ensure network stability and security, and proactively implement risk prevention and emergency response measures.
  2. Deployment & Maintenance: Manage the implementation and deployment of network equipment and projects to ensure smooth business operations. Oversee the operation and maintenance (O&M) of daily office and production equipment (e.g., PC terminals, printers, PDAs) to guarantee high efficiency and stability.
  3. Operational Support: Collaborate with business departments for on-site O&M support and manage network assets. Must be available for occasional short-term business travel to support local project implementation as needed.
  4. Service Mindset: Demonstrate a customer-centric service attitude and strong sense of responsibility. Possess excellent learning ability, problem-solving skills, and a spirit of communication and collaboration.


Job Requirements

Educational Background:

  • Majors in Computer Science, Communication Engineering, Network Engineering, or related fields are preferred.


Work Experience:

  • 3–5 years of experience in network O&M.
  • Proven track record in implementing and maintaining medium-to-large scale networks (200+ terminals).
  • Experience in server room and network planning, implementation, and O&M management.


Core Competencies:

  • Technical Skills: Ability to independently install, debug, and maintain equipment from major vendors such as Huawei, Ruijie, Cisco, Fortinet, and Extreme. Proficient in Windows, Linux, and macOS.
  • Language Skills: Mandarin and English preferred.

This role is an integral part of the preconstruction process and plays a key role in ensuring our projects are thoughtfully designed, accurately budgeted, and financially feasible from concept through construction.

We are looking for someone who enjoys collaboration, takes pride in accuracy, and wants to apply their multifamily construction expertise to meaningful, mission-driven work.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for multifamily residential developments at various design stages
  • Review drawings and specifications to develop accurate quantity take-offs
  • Partner with development, design, and construction teams to align budgets with project goals
  • Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
  • Identify value-engineering opportunities while maintaining quality and long-term durability
  • Track cost trends, escalation, and market conditions affecting multifamily construction
  • Support funding applications, lenders, and internal approvals with clear and accurate cost data
  • Assist with change order pricing and cost control as projects move into construction


What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of construction estimating experience with a strong focus on multifamily projects (required)
  • Hands-on multifamily experience is essential; candidates without this background will not be considered
  • Solid understanding of multifamily construction methods, materials, and sequencing
  • Experience with affordable housing or publicly funded projects is a plus
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Excel
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail


Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a nonprofit or mission-driven environment
  • Familiarity with prevailing wage, public funding requirements, or regulatory compliance
