Sales Account Manager – Pacific Northwest

Industrial Distribution | Power Transmission | Territory Ownership

Inherit $1.3M. Grow It to $3M. Build Long-Term Industrial Partnerships.

B&D Industrial is hiring a field-based Sales Account Manager to take ownership of an established Pacific Northwest territory anchored by approximately $1.3M in existing annual revenue.

This is not a startup territory build from zero.

This is not inside sales.

This is not transactional quoting.

This is a growth-driven industrial role for someone who understands territory math, margin discipline, and long-cycle relationship development.

What You’ll Own

  • ~$1.3M inherited revenue base
  • Clear 24-month growth target of $2.7M–$3M
  • In-person plant engagement and reliability discussions
  • Full territory strategy: pipeline, forecasting, account planning
  • Expansion into a low-market-share region with significant upside

Travel is ~80%, with overnight stays typically Tuesday–Thursday. This is a highly visible, customer-facing role.

Compensation Structure

  • Base salary: $80,000
  • Commission paid on gross profit (5% baseline)
  • 6-month commission guarantee
  • Accelerated commission tiers beyond $5.2M
  • Uncapped earnings potential
  • FAVOR vehicle reimbursement model
  • Comprehensive benefits + Employee Stock Ownership

Four of six current reps produce $5M–$6M+ annually. The model is proven.

We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years industrial field sales experience
  • Power transmission, mechanical products, reliability, or MRO background
  • Proven experience growing an inherited book of business
  • Comfort working under a GP-based commission structure
  • Experience calling on plant managers, maintenance leaders, and operations teams
  • Strong CRM discipline and pipeline ownership
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

This Role Is Not For

  • Fully remote sales professionals
  • Entry-level candidates
  • Inside sales backgrounds
  • SaaS-only sellers without industrial exposure

If you are an industrial sales professional who has scaled territories, protected margin, and built long-term plant-level relationships — we should talk.
