JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES Duty 1: Responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of patients and materials to ensure the productivity of the department.
Duty 2: Assists technologists and departmental leadership in developing, implementing, and performing daily tasks to ensure positive internal and external customer satisfaction.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Computer skills preferred PHYSICAL DEMANDS This position requires a full range of body motion with intermittent walking, lifting, bending, climbing, squatting, kneeling, twisting, sitting and standing.
This position requires continuous walking and standing for extensive periods of time.
The associate must be able to lift 50 pounds or more to assist with direct patient care.
The associate must have corrected vision and hearing in the normal range.
Individual must have excellent eye-hand coordination, finger dexterity to operate equipment, push and pull patients while providing treatment, and reach work above the shoulders.

Brief Description: As a sit-down clamp truck operator at Penske Logistics you will spend approximately 90% of your day on equipment, handling Whirlpool dishwashers (varied styles) with the other 10% having direct contact with smaller products (in-sink garbage disposals, wiring, tubing, hose clamps, etc.) Our clamp truck associates assist in picking orders, preparing and staging orders on the docks, and loading trailers.
We cross train in all areas – once comfortable on the docks.
Job Responsibilities: • Accurately stage and sort products for loading • Loads and unloads trailers • Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas • Complies with all safety requirements • Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system • Quality control • Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received • Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed • Maintains inventory records • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable) • Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor • No prior warehouse experience required but preferred .
• Prior forklift experience preferred , but not required.

Works collaboratively with the case management team, hospital care team, community partners and insurance companies to ensure that patient care needs are met regarding post-acute care prior authorizations.
Obtains and maintains contacts with insurance companies to streamline barrier removal.
Maintains knowledge of proper portal functionality and medical necessity requirements for post-acute care.
Understands payer requirements and how to apply benefits in various circumstances for post-acute care and is responsible for identifying medical criteria for post-acute care from chart review and developing an effective clinical packet to justify the level of care needed.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Duty 1: Initiates and manages the pre-certification process for patients transferring to post-acute care.
This includes collecting necessary patient information, submitting requests to insurance companies via portals, websites, or other required methods, and tracking the status of authorizations.
Duty 2.
Communicates with interdisciplinary teams.
Works closely with clinical staff, physicians, and other relevant departments to gather necessary clinical documentation and facilitate the approval process.
Duty 3.
Organizes and maintains accurate documentation.
This includes patient records, clinical documentation, and all correspondence related to authorization requests.
Duty 4.
Addresses and manages denials, communicates denied authorization requests to relevant parties and facilitates the appeals process for post-acute care placement.

Documents all activities and communications related to the pre-certification process within relevant systems (e.g., EHR, patient management systems).
Duty 6.
Maintains positive relationships with managed care providers and works to ensure patient and provider satisfaction.

Stays updated on payer policies and requirements and acts as a resource to team members and patients.

Complies with HIPAA regulations and ensures confidentiality of patient information.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
