Key Responsibilities: Monitor and record patient vital signs Assist nurses and physicians with examinations and minor procedures Perform EKG recordings and assist with diagnostic testing Collect specimens and process lab orders according to policy Document patient encounters using SOAP format and maintain accurate medical records Maintain inventory of clinical supplies and ensure exam rooms are properly stocked Clean and maintain medical equipment and clinical areas Follow infection control protocols and support quality improvement initiatives Qualifications: High school diploma or GED Completion of a Medical Assistant training program Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience (correctional experience preferred) Current BLS certification JOB ID: 167494
