The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst is seeking a full time Hematologist and/or Oncologist to join as faculty. We are looking for a highly motivated physician interested in working with an urban, ethnically diverse, underserved population in a dynamic and supportive academic setting. The hospital is easily accessible by public transportation and car from all areas of New York City, New Jersey and Long Island.
Responsibilities include chemotherapy infusion, consultations, teaching of residents and medical students and participation in clinical research. The candidate will be doing both Hematology and Oncology and should be comfortable treating hematological malignancies and coagulation disorders. The candidate will provide direct clinical care in the inpatient and outpatient settings for patients under the care of the Department of Medicine’s Hematology and Oncology Services.

We are particularly interested in a senior dermatologist and in a junior dermatologist with interest and expertise in skin of color, as director and associate director of the skin of color center, respectively, based on experience and academic level. This is a unique opportunity for the right candidates, given that our department is a leader in clinical and translational research in skin of color to develop the skin of color center into the leading skin of color center in the US and beyond. The successful candidates will be joining our 27 faculty members, and will be offered a highly supportive environment.The qualified candidates are expected to provide medical and/or cosmetic dermatology services and to develop clinical, translational and/or basic research involving conditions related to skin of color (such as keloids, vitiligo, CCCA, etc). Position title: Otolaryngologist/ ENT Specialist (Ear, Nose Throat)
Job Summary: The ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist, or Otolaryngologist, provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for patients with diseases and disorders that involve or affect the ears, nose, throat, and related structures of the head and neck. The ENT Specialist work with patients of all ages who suffer from diseases in those areas.
Responsibilities
Treating conditions of the ears, upper pharynx, and oral cavity, larynx, nose, face, and neck.
Treating nosebleeds, tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, infected mastoids, and sinusitis.
Assisting patients with a limited or altered sense of smell.
Treating patients with tumors in the head or neck or patients with a defect in the ear, nose, or throat.
Collaborating with other medical practitioners.
Qualifications
A medical degree in the state of NY
Must have completed an otolaryngology residency.
Must have a medical license.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Perfect vision and visuospatial awareness.
Good organizational ability.
The ability to work well alone and within a team.
Good interpersonal skills.
