In Texas, there is a judicial process for validating the Gestational Contract (the contract between the intended parents and the surrogate). Included within the various requirements for having a Gestational Contract validated by a Texas court is that the intended parents must be married and the surrogate must have previously carried a child to term. Additionally, there are residency requirements that apply to either the surrogate or the intended parents, but not both.

Job Description: The Inventory Purchasing Specialist supports the execution of inventory purchasing plans for our apparel division, ensuring accurate, timely flow of goods from purchase through receipt. This role is responsible for maintaining precise delivery and inventory data, communicating status updates to key stakeholders, and supporting operational efficiency to meet sales and customer service requirements. The Specialist coordinates purchase orders, monitors deliveries, manages back-order reporting, and works closely with vendors, logistics, distribution centers, and accounting to ensure accurate, on-time product availability.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor delivery timelines and distribution center receipts; update packing slips and purchase orders and communicate status to Sales and Customer Service teams.
- Execute the upload and distribution of official purchase orders for apparel and accessories; set up and maintain Purchase Agreements with Product and Sourcing teams.
- Manage mid-month back-order reporting, update shipment databases, match invoices to purchase orders, and forward accurate documentation to Accounting.
- Coordinate with vendors and Logistics to track delivery schedules and ensure all changes are reflected accurately in the AGS system for Available-to-Promise (ATP).

Qualifications:

The University of Massachusetts School of Law - Dartmouth invites applications for the position of Assistant Teaching Professor. The professor will teach Legal Skills I and II courses in which students develop abilities in legal research, writing, analysis, and advocacy. SUMMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Librarian for Access Services and Outreach will provide leadership for the Access Services division. This librarian will collaborate with colleagues to develop policies, procedures, and budget allocations for Access Services. They may also work closely with faculty and academic departments, accessing student needs and developing new classes to enable student success. As a member of the library leadership team, this librarian works collaboratively in assessing, developing, and managing key services of the Claire T. Carney Library. Often the first contact for a user or visitor, this librarian is an important ambassador for the library to the community.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- EDUCATION: Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA-accredited institution or equivalent
- EXPERIENCE: Two years of professional experience (post MLS) in public services in an academic (higher education) or public library setting.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience using the Ex Libris Alma integrated library system.
- Experience supervising full-time staff and student employees.
- Experience managing projects.
- Experience using evidence-based approaches to support improvements to library services.

EXAMPLES OF PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Access Services
- Provides leadership for the Access Services division in circulation, stacks management, reserves, and space management.
- Staffs the Access Services desk as needed. (May include evening, weekend, or holiday hours.)
- Performs access services related functions within the integrated library system and other library systems.
- Coordinates staff coverage for library operating hours.
- Oversees hiring and training of student employees.
- Communicates effectively with campus police, facilities, and hired security.
- Collaborates with colleagues across the library to develop workflows and procedures related to collection management, user accounts, and other access services functions.
- Represents Access Services in library leadership meetings.
- Collaborates with library leadership on the development, implementation, updating, and communication of policies and procedures.
- Assists the Dean with developing and managing the divisional budget.
Outreach
- Works with departments and programs across the university to enhance the student experience, coordinating general tours and orientations to the library and basic research skills.
- Assists with communications from the Library to various stakeholders.
Other Duties
- Maintain professional activities and contributions to librarianship and information science, engaging in and contributing to the profession through continuous learning, service, research, presentations, or professional communications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in the university and/or community to assess and improve services.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- MLS or equivalent from an ALA-accredited institution or international equivalent.

SUMMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Staff Associate for the Workers' Education Program performs a variety of tasks related to the coordination of services for the adult basic education program. The contract period is through June 30, 2026, with possible renewal September 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.
EXAMPLES OF PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct Student Orientations and Returning Student Registrations.
- Provide information and make appropriate referrals regarding WEP, other adult education programs, and local social service agencies to prospective and current students.
- Advise and assist students with forms and applications related to education and social services.
- Provide information to students, instructors, and others as requested about WEP policies and procedures.
- Maintain program waiting lists (Active, Inactive, and SMARTT) using WEP processes.
- Schedule Placement Tests and Student Orientations.
- Prepare materials for Assessments, Student Orientations, and Returning Student Registrations.
- Serve as substitute teacher as needed.
- Assist with program publicity, recruitment, and maintenance of web site.
- Perform clerical duties such as answering telephone, taking messages, and routing mail.
