Handle an average of 30 deliveries per month, with full support from anesthesia providers for pain relief during labor.
Orientation and Training: Attend a mandatory Epic system orientation the day before the assignment.
This 4-5 hour training ensures proficiency with the EMR system, facilitating seamless integration into the clinical team.
Collaboration: Work closely with the hospital???s labor and delivery team, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.
Participate in both patient rounding and delivery suite care, with the support of the hospital???s staff and resources.
Practice Details: Call Schedule: Provide call coverage on the specified dates, with potential for recurring assignments as needed.
Be available for emergency deliveries and obstetric procedures, ensuring the well-being of both mother and child.
Patient Volume: Handle a steady flow of deliveries, with approximately 30 per month in a facility equipped with 5 labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum suites.
Requirements: Licensure: Must hold a current Texas state medical license.
Board Certification: Board eligibility or certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
Certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
