In this unique and life-changing career, couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students living in the home. Flex Houseparents play a vital role in creating a structured, family-like environment that fosters students’ academic, emotional, and social development so they can reach their full potential.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field and possess a comprehensive understanding of Commercial Lines of Insurance.
The Commercial Lines Placement Specialist will be responsible for supporting the sales process, retain and grow the business by providing marketing support, assisting Sales Producers in renewing, negotiating the most competitive pricing and writing new business, submitting comprehensive data and information to markets and communicating with all carriers on accounts.
Responsibilities: Proactively solicits new and renewal business from Sales Producers Create and further develop trust and frequent use of the marketing department Be a go to resource for carrier information including appetite guides, carrier brochures, who to contact and other important information.
Attend, participate and lead monthly renewal meetings with Sales Producers and Account Managers Designate accounts that need to be marketed through the marketing department Reviews applications and obtains all information from Sales Producers or Account Managers Works with Sales Producers to provide customers with adequate insurance to value on property, satisfying proper co-insurance requirements, correctly classifying exposures, addressing loss history, recommending safety programs, making coverage recommendations… Makes complete submissions to markets including, but not limited to, 3-5 year loss runs with a summary spreadsheet, completed supplemental applications, financial statements, photos, and brochures Keeps Sales Producers informed of markets where information was submitted Creates and maintains marketing spreadsheet Create cover letters describing risk, losses & controls, target premium and quote due dates Work closely with Underwriters to ensure submissions were received and to inquire as to whether further information is required Compares quotes received with application and other quotes Reviews quotes with Sales Producer Prepares and completes proposals, and assists with the sales presentations Provides a copy of the proposal to the Account Manager with the correct premiums, commissions, order to bind coverage, instructions to issue binder, certificates and ID cards Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales and/or Sales Support within Commercial Lines Insurance Comprehensive understanding of Property and Casualty insurance Must have an active Property & Casualty License, CPCU, CISR and/or CIC designations Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent organizational and time management skills Proven track record of managing a portfolio of high net worth clients Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer focused, high integrity, and excellent service Knowledge of industry trends and regulations Ability to effectively maintain positive relationships with internal colleagues, carriers and vendors If you are a experienced Commercial Lines Placement Specialist with a successful track record and a comprehensive understanding of Insurance Sales and/or Sales Support for Commercial Lines Insurance in the state of California, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity with us today!
