Educated Solutions Corp is seeking a Technical Designer for a temporary leave coverage assignment supporting our premier client’s Women’s Active Team. This 14-week contract role will provide technical design support to the product development and sourcing teams, ensuring garments meet brand standards for fit, construction, and quality. The Technical Designer will collaborate with internal teams and overseas vendors to communicate detailed fit and construction corrections, review garments through the development lifecycle, and ensure accurate technical documentation. This position is primarily based in the Menomonee Falls office, working 32 hours per week (Monday through Thursday), with limited flexibility for remote work.


Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain technical design packages including detailed technical sketches, Points-of-Measure (POM) pages, and garment specifications.
  • Review samples and provide fit, construction, and pattern corrections to overseas vendors and factories.
  • Clearly communicate technical feedback and garment adjustments to international manufacturing partners.
  • Evaluate garment samples for fit accuracy, construction quality, and adherence to specifications.
  • Update tech packs and documentation to reflect fit changes and construction revisions.
  • Manage multiple styles and deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in apparel technical design or product development.
  • Background in pattern-making and technical garment construction.
  • Experience creating technical sketches and Points-of-Measure (POM) documentation.
  • Ability to clearly communicate fit comments, pattern corrections, and construction guidance to overseas factories.
  • Strong understanding of garment fit standards and development processes.
  • Excellent organizational, collaboration, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced product development environment.
