As a Receiving Specialist & Sales Associate, you will be responsible for managing the store's backroom operations by receiving products into the POS system, keeping products organized and accounted for, and helping process weekly pallets. You would also be in charge of processing damaged or defective products back to the Fulfillment Center, and reporting these items to the Inventory Control Team. Additionally, you would be responsible for providing every customer with a great experience. Our next Receiving Specialist & Sales Associate has:

• Previous retail, inventory management, customer service, or sales experience
• Ability to work retail schedule, including occasional nights/evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong computer acumen, writing, and math ability to count and manage inventory and control cash
• A self-starter mentality with a strong attention to detail

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Sales Associate acts as a point of contact for our customers. The duties of the Sales Associate include assisting customers in locating and purchasing merchandise, operating the cash register, stocking merchandise, recovering merchandise, cleaning the store, and performing other duties as assigned by the Store Manager to maximize store profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting company assets.

DUTIES and ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

* Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers.

* Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer's purchase, collect payment from customers and make change, bag merchandise, and assist customers with merchandise as necessary.

* Follow company merchandise processes; unpack, stock, restock, and rotate merchandise on shelves and build merchandise displays.

* Clean the store, take out trash, dust and mop store floors, clean restroom and receiving room, and help set up sidewalk displays.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:

GENERAL PURPOSE:

The Retail Associate is responsible for ensuring our Customers have a positive shopping experience. The Associate makes eye contact, smiles, and greets all Customers in a courteous and friendly manner, treats fellow Associates with respect, efficiently follows all company best practice standards as outlined in all work centers, maintains a clean work area at all times, and ensures proper merchandise presentation. * Expedites newly received merchandise receipts to the sales floor with a sense of urgency, merchandising all items per company best practice to the monthly presentation guidelines and maintaining merchandise/brand name familiarity within departments to assist Customers.

* Understands the Loss Prevention Awareness program, the Shortage Highway, the Store Protection Specialist (SPS) position (where applicable), and merchandise protection standards.

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides basic leadership skills for assigned patients, collaborates with other departments and begins process of proactive thinking when implementing the plan of care. Serves as mentor to the staff nurse and ancillary personnel; receives mentoring from Staff Nurse II and III; and Patient Care Coordinator.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Minimum of one year experience required. Verification of course completion in accordance with all American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support and Health Care Provider guidelines is required. BSN highly preferred.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

Current license from the Board of Nurse Examiners of the State of Texas to practice as a registered nurse is required. Must have a current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider or AHA BLS Instructor Provider card.

Counsels and assists patients and their families with personal and environmental difficulties which predispose illness or hinder the patient from receiving maximum benefits from medical care.

Acts as a therapeutic agent as a member of multi-disciplinary health and mental health teams.

Master's degree in Social Work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education is required.

One year's post master's degree experience in a health care setting is preferred.

Current state licensure from the Texas Department of Human Services is required.

Provides direct and indirect nursing care to patients in the Ambulatory setting in accordance with UH policies and standards.
