The Department of Surgery, Division of Urology, at Cooper University Hospital is seeking to hire a full-time Urology Hospitalist who has completed an accredited residency in Urology and whose primary focus is on the evaluation and management of common urologic conditions in General Urology. The successful candidate must hold an MD or DO degree and be board certified/eligible by the American Board of Urology. The position will be filled in a rank and series commensurate with experience. The ideal candidate must be experienced in general urology conditions The candidate will work in a hospital-based setting managing inpatient consultations, rounding on patients and covering emergent and acute care procedures. Operating room privileges will be granted for surgical procedures based upon the candidate’s experience. The candidate must have recognized skills in the education of trainees, including but not limited to, Medical Students, Residents, and Fellows. All candidates must have or be able to obtain a New Jersey medical license. Applicants must meet all required qualifications by time of hire.
