Work Schedule:

• Monday - Friday, potential for Saturday coverage
• 8-hour days with a start time of 7am

• Elizabeth, NJ - Trinitas Regional Medical Center (Part time available for every Monday)
• Jersey City, NJ - Jersey City Medical Center
• Newark, NJ - Beth Israel Medical Center

The ideal candidate must possess:

• ARRT with (N) and (CT) - OR - CNMT with (CT) or ARRT (CT) if holding a CNMT
• NJ State License
• BLS/CPR Certification
• Venipuncture Certification or ability to start IV's
• 2+ years industry experience
• Self-starter with the ability to multi-task
• Understanding of Joint Commission
• Hard working, detail-oriented, technologist committed to outstanding patient care
• Ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team

The hourly range for this role is $63.00 - $65.00/hour, however, base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. This position is also eligible for a performance-based merit increase annually. Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Billing Specialist who will also serve as a Team Coordinator. This role combines hands-on billing responsibilities with leadership support functions, including assisting with screening new hires and monitoring team productivity. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and able to guide team members while maintaining their own billing workload.

Billing Duties

·        Follow up on insurance claims.

·        Manage denials, appeals, and timely filing issues.

·        Review EOBs and resolve discrepancies.

·        Ensure compliance with payer policies and billing regulations.

Team Coordination Duties

·        Assist in screening new billing candidates.

·        Monitor outsourced team productivity and report performance metrics.

·        Review work quality and provide constructive feedback.

·        Help implement workflow improvements.

·        Serve as a point of contact between billing staff and management.

Qualifications

·        3+ years of medical billing experience.

·        Strong understanding of payer guidelines and appeals process.

·        Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Position Overview

Surgical Responsibilities

Assist in complex plastic surgery procedures, including:

• Breast reductions
• Breast reconstruction

Responsibilities include:

• First assist in the OR
• Tissue handling and retraction
• Suturing and layered closure

• Conduct preoperative evaluations

Qualifications

• Licensed Physician Assistant (PA-C) in NJ (and/or ability to obtain NY license if applicable)
