We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Medical Assistant interviews patients, measures vital signs and records information on patients' charts, draws and collects blood samples and/or urine samples from patients, prepares specimens for laboratory analysis, and conducts a variety of diagnostic tests.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and play a key role in supporting our providers by facilitating orders, managing referrals, and ensuring smooth clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare examination rooms and assist with patient procedures.
  • Take and record vital signs and patient history.
  • Administer medications and injections as directed by a physician.
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or relevant certification.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a family practice or primary care setting preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in facilitating provider orders and managing referrals.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Shift: Full time

  • Shifts available between Monday - Friday 6:30 am to 6pm with mandatory 1 Saturday a month for half shift from 8:00am-12:00pm

  • They have to score 90% or higher to pass the licensing tests - 2 chances!!


Post Training Schedule:

  • Hybrid, M-W in office and Th-F at home.
  • Monday-Friday 6am-5:30pm MST Full-time- 40 hours/week;
  • Overtime optional on Saturdays


Duties

  • Sell insurance products to inbound callers by gathering data from customers to generate quotes and ultimately bind the business; in some instances, make outbound calls to optimize sales potential.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships, while educating customers regarding coverages and cost so that the customer can select the most appropriate option
  • Qualify customers as buyers of other products/services to create cross-sell and upselling opportunities
  • Navigate multiple computer systems while seamlessly interacting with the customer


Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a sales environment
  • Proven ability to meet quotas, metrics and goals
  • A drive to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Direct sales skills, and the aptitude to influence customers and close the sale

  • Safety: Ensure a safe and secure environment by following established protocols and procedures, including fall prevention and emergency response.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided, including daily care logs and incident reports.
  • Family Communication: Communicate effectively with residents' families, providing updates on their loved ones' care and responding to their concerns.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Health & Wellness Team and other departments to ensure high-quality care and a positive living environment.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities, including dementia care best practices and person-centered care techniques.
