Quad is seeking Saddle Stitch Operators for the Lomira, WI plant. Experience with Muller Martini 12-40 pocket machines or Goss 855's with 40 pocket capabilities is highly desirable . Will consider candidates that have run other types of Saddle Stitch equipment as well .
At Quad, the wage range for a Saddle Stitch Operator is between $19.25 - $24.25 / hr. depending on experience. You have immediate opportunities to advance – driving you to be better than yesterday. Job Duties include but are not limited to:
- Operate machine effectively and safely according to standards to ensure a quality product.
- Perform and document preventative and routine maintenance as needed or assigned.
- Make ready the stacker, tiers, mail head, mail control.
- Make ready and run all aspects of the saddle stitcher (pockets, gatherer, stitcher heads, in feed, trimmer, mail table, and mail head, etc.…).
- Make-ready and run demographic and inkjet.
- Fill in for other master operators when needed.
- Assist other master operators with start-ups as possible when their line is down.
- Support material handlers during continuous and self-supported running (including mail-sacking, skid stacking, pocket filling, cover filling, etc.) and give work direction during downtime and clean-up.
- Read and understand binding instructions, mailing instructions, and support the BCS system.
- Ensure proper functioning of safety devices (i.e. guards, stop buttons)
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Perform additional tasks as needed or assigned.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skill in mechanics/mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read and interpret binding/mailing instructions and operating/maintenance manuals.
- Knowledge of department safety practices.
- Good understanding of all Bindery functions/procedures.
- Good understanding of the co-palletization process, demographics, and selective binding processes.
- Good understanding of primary causes and remedies for various quality problems.
- Ability to recognize, identify, analyze, and communicate problem situations and/or factors.
- Basic computer skills including a good understanding of the BCS System.
- Willingness to move to other machines.
- Willingness to work overtime on unscheduled days.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills; both oral and written.
- Ability to work easily and productively with others and with minimal supervision.
- You will work a compressed 3 and 4-day work week geared toward balancing work and family life (12-hour shift (either 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. - 7 a.m.) including weekends, and holidays).
- Essential functions of this job include the following: the ability to lift 10-15 pounds continuously, the ability to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally, stand for long hours, use hands and wrists continuously in controlled movement, receive and follow instructions and use vision to identify defects.

Extension is seeking a Maintenance Manager / Maintenance Supervisor for a direct hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Fond du Lac County. This role is highly involved on the floor and focuses on equipment uptime, preventive maintenance, and safety compliance. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical experience.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a small team of maintenance technicians
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of production equipment
- Develop, implement, and improve a preventive maintenance (PM) program
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and general safety standards
- Support plant layout changes and equipment reconfiguration
- Maintain building electrical standards
- Oversee basic building and grounds maintenance
- Troubleshoot and maintain equipment
- Perform minor troubleshooting related to HVAC systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Operate with a high level of independence and accountability
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on mechanical maintenance background
- Experience creating or improving preventive maintenance programs
- Prior maintenance leadership or lead-level experience
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of OSHA and industrial safety standards
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

RB Royal is a premium manufacturer of fluid transfer systems. Think custom coils, tubing and hoses that move water, air, oil and fuel. Our products support a wide range of industries including marine, automotive, construction, motor sports, agriculture, food processing, medical, power generation.
Shift
2nd Shift: Monday thru Thursday 3:00pm-1:00am
Duties and Responsibilities
Hand assembly of parts (hose/tubes/clamps) using hand tools.
Follow procedures and work instructions.
Hand load machines already set-up and operate automated equipment.
Inspect parts and ability to make minor adjustments to program or machine.
Lead basic assembly teams.
Read blueprints and interpret shop orders.
Download and setup programs on machines.
Knowledge of computers to find the next job order, download programs, setup machine, print out shop orders/drawings, perform quality inspection of parts. Enter lot data after running each job.
Aptitude to learn and operate several machines.
Skills and Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in a manufacturing setting.
Good Attendance.
Willingness to learn.
Ability to conduct basic measurements using tape measures, calipers.
Basic math skills including fractions.
Ability to find dimensions on prints.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals.
Physically required to stand duration of 10 hour shift and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
