The Registered Dental Hygienist’s main purpose is to deliver appropriate patient care to help aid the patient in achieving optimal oral health. The Registered Dental Hygienist will do this by helping to address the needs of the patient in order to be successful with overall health and wellness.

• Receive and prepare patients for treatment.
• Cleans calcareous deposits, accretions, and stains from teeth and beneath margins of gums.
• Examines gums to locate periodontal recessed gums and signs of gum disease.
• Place fluoride varnish to help in the prevention of oral health disease.
• Places sealants on posterior teeth to help in the prevention of oral health disease.
• Take digital dental x-rays to help aid the dentist in proper diagnosis of oral health conditions.
• Charts conditions of decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by dentist.
• Administers local anesthetic agents.
• Appropriate use of PPE/infection control protocols when providing treatment to patients.
• Knowledge of Scope of Practice per Wisconsin Dental Hygiene Licensure.
• Demonstrate Knowledge of ethics, jurisprudence and patient confidentiality.
• Demonstrate understanding of the OSHA Hazard Communication standard.
• Demonstrate understanding of the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens standard.
• Demonstrate understanding of the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention guidelines
• Perform sterilization and disinfection procedures in compliance with policy and procedures.
• Understand insurance guidelines for allowable services and treatment frequency.
• Apply effective communication techniques with a variety of patients.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The Registered Occupational Therapist (Pediatrics) provides high quality assessment and treatment to pediatric patients to help develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and to help develop cognitive skills.

Essential Functions of the Job: [Other duties may be assigned.]

• Prepare for, administer, score, and interpret initial evaluations and re-evaluations including writing a report.
• Prepare for and provide therapy for treatment sessions.
• Complete a daily note for every treatment session (should be completed within 72 hours).
• Fulfill paperwork requirements for progress notes, plan of care updates, and prior authorizations based on insurance company.
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about treatment and home programming.
• Develop home programming when appropriate.
• Participate in staff meetings and/or staff coordination when appropriate.
• Complete required tasks for billing.
• Supervise COTA when applicable (including duties required to meet supervision requirements per state and licensure).
• Provide assessment and recommendations for appropriate treatments
• Treat various mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders
• Appropriate use of PPE/infection control protocols when providing treatment to patients.
• Plans and administers therapeutic treatment by telephonic/ telehealth methodologies as indicated by patient needs and state guidelines.
• Review relevant literature, synthesize evidence-based materials
• Conduct case management and other administration tasks as needed
• Work with internal and external providers on patient referrals
• Refer patients to specialists as needed.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required and current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice the profession.

The registered nurse (RN) is accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care. The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family. The RN will function within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model, which includes accountability for planning, implementing, evaluating and communicating all phases of nursing care for assigned patients. The ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice provide a basis for the practice of the RN. The RN provides leadership through activities such as preceptor role, informal leadership roles, and quality improvement efforts. The RN delegates patient care according to skill level, experience, patient acuity, fiscal accountability, and adequacy of resources. Additional Qualifications:

Ability to work flexible hours, which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends and on-call. Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations within the work setting. License or Certification:

Current RN license by applicable state requirements. Maintains current Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from one of the following programs: American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
