- Quality Engineering Job Location : Davenport, IA Job Duration : 12 Months+ (potential for extension) Shift: Work shift: 3rd shift Role Overview: Engineer Quality II – Quality Engineering is responsible for ensuring products meet customer quality expectations by supporting quality planning, control, and continuous improvement across product development, manufacturing, supply management, and distribution.

Identify gaps in systems and drive corrective actions using structured change management tools.

Design feasibility and validation testing approaches.

Inspection & Compliance Perform quality inspections under guidance.

Recommend corrective or remedial actions.

Supplier & Contractor Coordination Act as primary quality contact for suppliers and subcontractors.
Ensure supplier processes align with quality standards.
Support supplier quality planning and issue resolution.

Product Development Support Apply structured tools to translate customer needs into product requirements.
Support product validation and continuous improvement efforts.
6.
Project & Knowledge Management Work within defined project plans to meet cost, quality, and timeline goals.
Support knowledge-sharing systems and documentation best practices.
7.
Professional Development Maintain industry knowledge and regulatory awareness.
Participate in training, accreditation, and continuous learning initiatives.
Education: Mechanical/Industrial Degree is preferred however not required.
Manager is willing to consider candidates with other degrees and equivalent work experience.
The Parts Counter | Parts Advisor is also responsible for achieving monthly sales and gross forecasts, and for seeking out and soliciting parts business.
The Parts Advisor reports directly to the Parts Manager.
