As a Nursing Assistant, you are responsible for providing direct care to patients and serving the needs of patients in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort, under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, Nurse Manager, Assistant Head Nurse, and/or Department Director (possibly with guidance from an LPN) to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. Duties will vary by patient care unit/department and include but are not limited to:
- Providing personal hygiene care, assisting with nutritional needs

- Appropriately and safely transferring patients
- Taking vital signs and completing recordkeeping
- Recognizing and promptly reporting changes in patient condition to the RN
- Maintaining a safe, clean environment for patients to promote the healing process.

Key Responsibilities:

Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with a strong foundation in evidence-based practice
- Proven experience in developing and delivering educational programs, utilizing various teaching methodologies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build relationships with nursing staff at all levels
- Proficient in using technology for educational purposes, including learning management systems and multimedia tools
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Commitment to professional growth and continuous learning in the field of nursing professional development
Certificate/Licensure:
- Current Registered Nurse license with the primary state of residence: Minnesota, Wisconsin, or North Dakota. Must gain licensure with the remaining 2 states within 6 months of hire or transfer

With over 65 pediatric specialists and sub specialists on staff and the region s only PICU and NICU, we are able to care for the area s most critically ill infants and children.
