PRACTICE SPECIFICS
Our Gastroenterology section is seeking an Advanced Endoscopist as part of a planned expansion. Expertise in bariatric endoscopy and/or ESD are preferred. Our section serves a 357-bed tertiary referral center with opportunities for outreach into surrounding communities. The facility features an outpatient endoscopy unit and side by side clinic with 8 endoscopy suites. An IM hospitalist service manages all GI admissions and GI functions as a consultative service. Eleven NPs/PAs and six General GI Physicians support outpatient management of IBS, IBD and liver disease and the inpatient GI consultation service. This position can accommodate subspecialty interests and provides a 1: 3 call schedule.
- Our current group of seven physicians includes 6 general and one advanced endoscopy Gastroenterologist working in a 100% consultative practice.
- Currently offered procedures include ERCP, SpyGlass Cholangioscopy, EUS (diagnostic and therapeutic), RFA, cryotherapy, EMR and enteral stenting.
- Latest model Olympus endoscopes, EUS processors, and Omega fixed table fluoroscopy unit.
- State-of-the-art Digestive Health Center performing a full spectrum of endoscopy procedures
- New hospital opened July 2023
- All GI hospital admissions are managed by IM hospitalist service
- University of Minnesota medical school affiliation

Practice Details
- Call Schedule: Enjoy a 1:9 compensated call rotation at a Level 1 Trauma Center, supported by a dedicated call APP and surgical assistant. With approximately 30 call nights per year, maintain a healthy work-life balance. Working towards full call coverage by orthopedic trauma service.
- Team Composition: Work alongside 2 full-time pediatric orthopedic surgeons and 2 part-time pediatric orthopedic surgeons nearing retirement, supported by two full-time APCs.
- Comprehensive Cases: Engage in a full scope of pediatric orthopedic cases, including spine surgeries.
- State-of-the-Art Facilities: Practice in a new hospital with a dedicated pediatric floor and receive robust support from colleagues in pediatrics and PM+R. Three locations to do surgery: St. Mary’s Medical Center, Essentia Health Duluth, and Ambulatory Surgery Center.

- We are seeking an additional Pediatric Neurologist to join our Pediatric Neurology team. The Pediatric Neurology team includes 1 Pediatric Neurologist, 1 NP, 1 Child Psychiatry NP, and 3 Child Neuropsychologists.
- We are looking for Physicians with a passion for service and collaboration, as well as general Pediatric Neurology
- On-call rotation is predominantly by phone. Call rotation negotiable.

Work and live on the shores of Lake Superior. Our 12-Pathologist team works in a state-of-the-art laboratory at Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center, which was newly built and opened in 2023. This 1.0 FTE position is ideal for a Certified Pathologist with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience, and who has interest in Surgical Pathology. Sub-specialty certification in Hematopathology is a plus. Exciting Opportunity for a Dermatology Mohs Surgeon in Duluth, MN
Join Our Dynamic Dermatology Team
We are thrilled to invite a dedicated Dermatologist, specializing in both Mohs Surgery and General Dermatology, to become a part of our esteemed team in Duluth, MN. Our current team comprises four Dermatologists (including one Mohs specialist, two general dermatologists, and one part-time pediatric dermatologist) and five advanced practice clinicians.
Position Highlights:
- Balanced Practice: Enjoy a fulfilling role with up to 2 days dedicated to Mohs Surgery and 3 days to General Dermatology (for a full-time position). Mohs volume may vary, and practicing general dermatology is an integral part of the role.
- Comprehensive Support: Advanced support model consisting of a dedicated team of Clinical Assistants and Laboratory Histology Technicians for rooming, biopsies, procedures, and general patient care. Additionally, our team of RNs supports triage, scheduling, result communication, and patient management through MyChart.
- Flexible Scheduling: We offer flexibility with clinic templates, allowing adjustments to appointment lengths and daily patient numbers to suit your preferences.
- Advanced Pathology Services: Our on-campus team of three Dermatopathologists provides rapid pathology reporting via our EMR and in-house immunofluorescence testing. They also lead a monthly dermatopathology CPC conference.
- Collaborative Environment: Enjoy strong collegial relationships with specialists in Rheumatology, Infectious Disease, ENT, Plastic Surgery, Wound Care, and more within our integrated network.
- Robust Referral Network: Benefit from hundreds of referring physicians within the region, supplying over 30 referrals daily.
- Outreach: Expansive regional reach includes satisfying and busy dermatology opportunities at other sites of service.
- On-Call Model: Utilize E-Consults for non-emergencies and phone calls for emergencies, supported by a team-based approach.
- Advanced EMR: Our facilities are certified as HIMSS EMRAM Level 7 for both inpatient and ambulatory services.
Requirements:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Dermatology
- ABD Mohs Certification
COMPENSATION:
- $743,000. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.

About the position:

- Opportunity to work 14 on / 14 -- off in a Child/Adolescent inpatient unit
- No outpatient clinic required
About our Behavioral Health Team:
- Join a group of 9 adult and 4 child and adolescent psychiatrists as part of a comprehensive behavioral health program
- Position is a full time, hospitalist model child psychiatry inpatient unit
- Average caseload is 12 children, ages 6-18 years
- Comprehensive inpatient team including family therapists, social workers, chemical dependency counselors, behavioral health techs with robust programming
- Overnight call averages 1 in 8 days
- Access to immediate hospital medical services such as pediatric hospitalist consultation, full lab and imaging services in house
- Our Amberwing facility provides Partial Hospitalization Programming, state-of-the art, mental health and substance abuse services for children, adolescents, and their families. In addition, there is On Site Pediatric Occupational Therapy and a Birth to Kindergarten Program.
- NACHRI designated children’s hospital, St. Mary’s Medical Center, part of the Duluth medical campus
- The Behavioral Health Department provides a spectrum of care for children and adults, including inpatient psychiatric care, consult-liaison and emergency psychiatry, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization services, and an outpatient behavioral health clinic.
- Essentia Health Duluth hospital-Child/Adolescent inpatient unit has 16 beds; Adult in-patient unit has 37 beds.
