Job Description Summary: This position directs planning, organization, and operation of the laboratory services.
The position is responsible for the overall coordination of testing processes within the campus and in conjunction with other OhioHealth hospitals and OhioHealth Laboratory Services.
Responsibilities And Duties: 60% Manages all aspects of the hospital laboratory services to meet customer needs and support hospital and department balanced scorecard goals.
This includes: direct responsibility for Laboratory operations and ownership/coordination of cross-functional, laboratory-related processes through leadership with Nursing, other departments, the medical staff, and administration.
The Director is responsible for the development and management of department operating and capital budgets, as well as personnel issues within the department.
15% Ensures Laboratory Department complies with relevant Joint Commission, CAP, CLIA, and FDA standards, as well as any other state/federal/local agency rules or professional standards.
Ensures hospital complies with blood handling and use standards as defined by JCAHO and any other state/federal/local regulatory body.
15% Represents the RMH Laboratory Department on appropriate hospital/system committees 10% Participates in other activities within the hospital or system as necessary.

Scope of Position
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for providing health care services to patients within the parameters of a standard care or supervisory agreement with an attending physician member of The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Collaborates with a physician(s) and other clinicians in providing a full scope of patient care. The focus is on preventive health or the management of acute and/or stable chronic conditions. Performs medical services that have been specifically authorized and directed by the credentialing body and the certifying organization through which they hold licensure.
Position Summary
The APP provides health care services to patients working in collaboration with a licensed physician member of the medical staff. Healthcare services provided include care during acute and chronic phases of illness, education, and counseling of individuals and families, health promotion and prevention, and referral to other healthcare providers and community resources when appropriate. ERU is an extended recovery unit for procedures- ortho, GI, GU, Vascular, GS- etc. Managing patients in conjunction with the primary surgeon and discharging them home.
Minimum Qualifications
Current certificate of authority to practice as an APRN in the State of Ohio Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program that qualifies the graduate to sit for the certification examination of a national certifying organization recognized by the Ohio Board of Nursing Master of Science Degree in Nursing
OR
Masters Prepared; Graduate of a PA-C program that qualifies the graduate to sit for the certification examination recognized by the National Certification Commission for Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Eligibility for State of Ohio licensure as a PA-C

Position OverviewThe ideal candidate will be passionate about patient-centered mental health care and comfortable working in a collaborative, outpatient environment. You will conduct psychiatric evaluations, manage medication, and oversee patients receiving Spravato and IV ketamine therapy in accordance with REMS protocols and clinic standards.
Responsibilities
· Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management
· Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychiatric medications as clinically indicated
· Supervise and monitor patients during ketamine and Spravato treatment sessions
· Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes
· Provide education and support to patients and families about treatment plans
· Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR system
Qualifications
· PMHNP-BC or PA-C with psychiatric experience (required)
