CGRC’s Family Based Services is a 32-week process.

Families are assigned a team of two Master’s level clinicians who work closely with clients in the home, school and community to address not only the child’s emotional struggles but also the larger systemic issues contributing to troublesome behavior.

The flexibility of being in the home and the community allows therapists the address the root of the struggles and create long-term positive change.

Without the limits of an office, the therapeutic possibility multiply! If you’re looking for the opportunity to share and expand your competencies using a variety of clinical based interventions, CGRC’s Family Based Services program is for you.

Therapists use a variety of clinically based interventions such as talk, play, art, cognitive behavioral therapy, and other strategies to help you and your child reach the agreed upon treatment plan goals.

Some job responsibilities include: Incorporates understanding of the service system, including ongoing changes, into practice; Constructs the Therapeutic System; Establishes a meaningful Therapeutic Focus; Creates Key Growth Promoting Interpersonal Experience; Solidifies and Extends Changes; Creates effective networks inside and outside of the agency in order to reach mutual goals on behalf of client care; Incorporates understanding of the service system, including ongoing changes, into practice; Skillfully and professionally builds and nurtures a team partnership that supports effective Family Based treatment.
